The AI of the back line is horrrrrible.

I hate that the players run in the direction of where the ball is at the moment, and not where it's going.

I still play a lot tho, I'm pretty successful against Man U abusers, Real Madrid is gonna seriously be the most overrated team in Fifa history.

for those that play fifa 09 religiously and have seen videos and gameplays for fifa 10 should i cop fifa 10 or should i just cop fifa 09? any real differencein terms of gameplay..graphics...clubs..etc? does fifa 09 have a roster update where real madrid and man U and other clubs have a updated roster? or is it onlyupdated to a certain time period where it won't update no more... or can you download from other peoples updates like how 2k does it?

Just get FIFA 10 and no EA doesn't updates squads for 09 after the January transfers of this year.

Hopefully, if the game is not full of through passes leading players easy in on goal (basic dudes cheese with that button ) and dudes not calling the seconddefender every single time I have possession

i just hope they address defense in the game, it gets frustrating when you play against Messi or Ronaldo online and somehow they run straight through yourdefense like the ball is stuck to their foot...its not even realistic, what makes it even worse is that is exactly how 99% of people online play with theseguys, they have no strategy whatsoever except to give the ball to them every time they get possession and try to go on ridiculous runs...it doesnt matter howgood your defense is, they are guaranteed too break free once or twice every game...its almost to the point where i dont even like playing xbl anymore becauseeveryone picks the same damn teams everytime...yes im salty

also i wish they'd put in more international teams and tournaments, otherwise i'll end up shelling out another $60 to buy World Cup 2010...having theHolland team would be nice too (with Nike jerseys!), you can use int'l selections to make the real team but that takes awhile and it would be nice to playwith them online as well

This is the day we've all been waiting for! It is now officially the 10th of September 2009, and today will see the release of the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 demos of FIFA 10 - at least it is in Europe, Australia and possibly a few other places as well. The official release date of the demo in places like the USA is the 17th of September. But don't worry, we'll keep you up-to-date on how great the game is!

Throughout the day we will post updates when each format of the demo goes live in the UK, so stay tuned, and have fun. Here are our predictions of when the demos will arrive, based on Sony and Microsoft's usual update schedule:

PC demo & Xbox 360 demo: 8am-12pm (most likely 10:30am)
PS3 demo: Either 12pm or 5pm (most likely 5pm)

So basically EA is doing their usual thing of just updating a few graphics and just changing the date.

*smh*

Until they re-vamp the game play like the did from 08-09...there's no need to buy again.

They need to make a big gameplay update again...

FIFA 10 is looking good and I'll probably buy it. However I'm definitely looking towards Pro 2010 (PES) even more hoping that Konami can come back ontop like the old days. And if they do then I'll never play FIFA again. Long live PES! As long as it delivers!

Fifa 10 Manager Mode Improvements

• A more user-friendly manager mode hub/desktop

• New level of authenticity and realism with regard to signing players
• 2-tier bidding for players, first agree fee with club then agree terms with the player
• Manual growth removed but replaced with improved authentic/realistic auto-growth
• New scout ability to predict future growth of players
• Pre-season friendlies added, arranged by the new Assistant Manager
• The Assistant Manager will also assess the importance of upcoming matches and rotate your line-up for you. This is especially visible in early cup games, where you can see that your star players often get a rest in these games. He can also be turned off so you can take care of all the team management without him interfering.
• Board confidence update after every game
• Ability to renogotiate with players immediately and not through negotiation history
• Transfer rumours
• CPU squad rotation
• Fix to the long-term injury bug i.e. there will be long term injuries
• No "available negotiations" cap, unlimitied number of transfer offers depending on your available budget
• Final decision on player transfers. You can bid for multiple players for the same position and if they all accept then you can choose which players to sign and which not to sign.
• Manager mode will not end if you get sacked, your reputation will take a hit and you will get offers from other clubs.
• You will receive job offers at the end of a season "The better your Reputation, the better the offers will be. You will be able to see their squads overall as well as their key players in every area of their squad. The clubs financial situation will be shown as well. "
• Able to assign generic stadiums to clubs and rename them, and set weather conditions for that stadium.
• Improved atmosphere in matches with rivals and more 'frantic' celebrations
• Ability to view opponents starting 11 pre-match
• Ability to shortlist up to 20 players
• Computer generated player names will be regionalized, "no more Scott McFadden from Brazil"

• Players are no longer tied to a club for 12 months after signing, they can move on as early as the next transfer window
• Financial bonus for promotion, to help bolster your squad
• Players will develop at other clubs, not just the user controlled one
• You can set the age of your created player and assign him to your MM club
• You can also edit the stats of your created player
• Contract length plays a role in the market value of a player
• English play-off finals will be played at Wembley
• New stats screen which tracks goal assists

• New EA Live Team that will monitor and track down cheaters.
• Idle players will be disconnected in 10v10 matches.
