Demo is pretty good.
The game play is a bit more arcadish though, but a lot more smoother. I haven't played it much to place a decent opinion on it.

PES is way better then fifa. the ball is on a rail in fifa it is free moving in pes the game plays like a soccer game should i hate fifa and will only buy pesnow til forever.

Just modfiy the control settings, you can ensure all pass, shot etc.. are manual. Its amazing though once you master it.

Well I just downloaded the demo and played my first match.
I gotta say initially I'm impressed. Despite what the vids posted a few ages back look like, let me say the game looks a lot better than 09. It's mostnoticeable during replays, replays look 1000 times better than last year. The physics are amazing. As good as the 08 physics were at the time, and as much asthey improved in 09, they're ridiculously better in this years game. It plays so much "realer" than 09. You have a lot more control and playersseem to react way faster. A few other things,
-players play with urgency, whether defending or it's you trying to get a pass off under pressure
-keeper AI has been noticeably improved on
-option to take a quick free kicks.. don't even know how I did it but that's wet
-lob pass has been redone.. much more accurate, there's actually a point to lob passing when you're not crossing.
-specific player commentary that's relative to the game

My short review rant after playing the demo twice,yeah twice because I could not stand thegameplay,graphics, and slimjim players
First match of the demo I noticed players are lightweights and every player are the same size and all get pushed over easily
about size the players look smaller and cartoonist(compared to 09's) making for an unrealistic visual of the game
tackles are still easy to pull off just like 09's just hold X and win the ball works 100% of the time
and players can still stand tackle with 100 % aggression and get away without getting booked
the goal keeper is mad suspect leading to easy long range goal in ridiculous angles
I'm done.

I feel like EA took the template from 09 and made some good modifications. It's much more difficult to attack as defenders are much more solid this timearound.
It also appears that EA fixed the offsides crap that plagued FIFA 09. I hate how ******ed the offsides calls are in 09...like 70% of forward passes are calledoffside
My only concerns are long distance shooting and player positioning. It appears pretty easy to score from 30+ yards out even from poor angles. Also, I dont likehow fullbacks dont make overlapping runs in this game. All 4 defenders stay in defence even when the rest of the team is attacking.
