Everything we knew about addiction is wrong VOL....Rat Park

I read about Rat Park before on Reddit while I was feeding my internet addiction. Agree with everything in the video though. Good watch.

I only fap when I'm alone :(

If you know anything, you know you don't know ****.

I feel as if my IQ is deteriorating a lot. Can you explain that statement for me? I hear it a lot but reading it in context it went over my head.

Its like the more you know the less you know.

Say i never knew about early african art....then one day i randomly saw some in a museum and became interested.

So i research it....and now theres a whole ****load of knowledge to learn.

Its like i didnt know something....then i knew it...now theres a WHOLE LOTTA **** i dont know.

It sounds negative but its a good thing imo

Basically information is always changing.

People were sure that the world was flat at one time.

At least that's how I understood it.

I agree 100% with this

I've been saying the stuff in this video for how long now? Damn near over 7 years of being on NT?

:lol And some NTers still think our justice system is fine, the war on drugs is fine, incarcerating people for drug offenses is fine and making it virtually impossible for them to find employment and housing is fine.

Good vid but it'll be glossed over by a ton of folks on this site.

Ignorance is bliss is another way of looking at it.

Knowledge is a burden. Knowing the ugly truth, the more of it you know, the more you realize how little others do.

It's a lot easier/more convenient turning the other cheek and allowing yourself to continue to adhere to the stat quo than it is to actively go against the grain. It's ******* exhausting dealing with people's complacency. People don't care about what's wrong with the world until it affects them.

any NTers wanna build a connection?

I'm 20 years old, 6'0" 230 lbs.

Looking for a good time with somebody who can intrigue me and force me to think outside of the box. I enjoy long walks on the beach, camping out for sneakers, and wearing awesome denim jeans.

While I agree with the video

Kinda funny that I've been seeing stuff like this brought up more and more now that there is a heroin epidemic raging in the burbs

When it was crack cocaine destroying the inner city, I wonder how many PSAs there where like this
