Na a memory leak is caused by poor programming which causes a program to use an absurd amount of ram when it doesnt need to.

I'm giving it another shot.

Chrome was running far better the past year or so on Ubuntu so that's been my primary browser.

I'm still missing a few extensions from Firefox so if this doesn't kill my system then I'll switch back.

Question for Chrome users. Does it have an ad blocking add in ... like AdBlockPlus for Firefox?

Yes, Chrome has AdBlock Plus. It's a beta version, but no complaints from me other than a few Youtube ads that creep up.

Someone try it and review

Ive been running Firefox 4 throughout its entire beta cycle and its really good.

Memory leaks been pissing me off lately. FF4 sucks? If so I may have to find a new default browser.

What's so good about FF4? I never update because when I do most of my addons aren't compatible.

I love No-Script for FF4, pretty much the only reason I haven't switched to Chrome. I'm gonna try out FF4 though

Just installed FF4. My very first impression was that it looks very similar to Chrome. Not that that is a bad thing. Lets see how it performs.

Been on it for about 15 minutes now, and it does feel faster than FF3. Maybe a little snappier?

Im liking it so far. There are a couple add-ons that dont work, but that should be fixed in the next feel days

Its been a while since I had to use FF3 but its worth the upgrade. Most extensions work and its well the latest release. It adds more functionality for the future when it comes to script handling and browser security. The only thing that irks me that there is no 64-bit version.
