Jenny didn't love Forrest, she didn't even know what it meant to love
someone. Her sense of love was warped by the 60s and drugs and being a hoar, while all Forrest ever gave to anyone was GENUINE love and care.

She married him cause she had nothing and Forrest was a dumb
millionaire. The kid played a part but really it was Jenny's being
naive and selfish. God I
hate her.

dude.

i tried to make Jenny look like a good person

she doesnt deserve it. she doesnt deserve anything. %@+@@+* %%##*

While I despise Jenny's skank a$% as much as the next man, you have to give her credit for rolling with forrest from the time they were kids through highschool. She kinda had his back when he was wearing those leg braces, and she did give us the timeless line, "Run Forrest...Run!!"

Somebody needs to dig up that one thread some NT'er made about this. Classic.

Little kid jenny/high school jenny > college/HIV jenny.

She had his back when they were young but grew into a +$*% who went to the only person who actually cared about her after her life fell apart when she shouldabeen with him from the start.

But good movie none the less. ha.

Kids often immitate. That doesn't necessarily mean that's his kid.

Many of us are imagining this story as if it were non-fiction. Sure, the writer of the book intended for "little Forrest" to actually be Forrest's son. But to us... that broad an ungrateful *** bucket.

DF!!!
But Forrest Jr. never looked to the right and imitated Forrest when his head titled to the side. The scene was intended to show that he wasForrest's son. The head tilt was synchronized.

It would be pointlessfor Zemeckis for him to add that scene if he was not implying Jr. was Forrest's son.

I think how you evaluate that movie depends on how cynical you are. In our time it seems like Jenny was using Forest because that is the kind of societywe've become.

I think Jenny loved him but she couldn't love herself so she couldn't be with him. He was the only goodness in her life and she didn't want to ruinit. He showed her unconditional love and when she learned how to cope with the pain in her life, she could deal with him in a loving relationship. Their childis a symbol of that part of her.

I believe Forest Gump was pure goodness. He was a person striped of all ulterior motives, games, jealousy, and hate. And that is why his life played out thatway. His kindness and sincerity helped him find peace and happiness.

I saw that movie earlier today on HBO, haha.
But I think Jenny wasn't sure if she could like love a person like Forest, so she came and go.

Oh man there was a legendary thread about this awhile back. NT'ers were going at each others heads.
