GOAT APP legit?

I accepted an offer of one of my used shoes, today they email me saying the specialist noticed it was an used product. I have no idea what the issue they are implying as that's what I sent them that was pictured when I listed it. I don't think the offer I accepted was for a new pair.

if you check the email they sent to you with the shipping label, it will state the condition; either new or used. You can check the email to see which way you listed it.

It's used.
Sent in support on Thursday only gotten an automated message Saturday they are backed up.

If they really wanna make this right, they should just give you the funds for the sale since this obviously seems like an error on their part. Isn't even a high value item. Just so unusual since I've never had any issues with them over a used shoe sold

Yeah this is first problem I have selling an used shoe. Pictures are accurate I never wore them again after posting it like I always do. Just dumbfounded the problem is used shoes for it to go to the buyer to decide.

Goat is slacking big time, been a whole week since my sneakers were delivered to their NJ warehouse and still haven't paid me out
Same. pair I sold got delivered yesterday hasn’t been authenticated , but the pair I bought got delivered today already got authenticated. It’s so frustrating

How trustworthy is GOAT finding another seller if the original seller did not ship the shoes in a timely manner? The purchase price for the shoes is the same purchase price as of right now.

Ebay must have poached Goats talent  2 sales delivered Thursday and still not authenticated. They used to always authenticate the same day the delivery was rec'd in the past :frown:

From my experience GOAT will find another shoe/seller if the price has lowered so they can keep the price difference you paid.
If the price of the shoe rises, chances are that they will refund you store credit so you have to come out of pocket for the same pair.

I'm sure it doesn't happen EVERY time but has happen several times with me...

Really getting sick of Goat, and the constant issues: dropped off at UPS yesterday morning and the app still hasn't updated to "in transit" or "verification needed" even tho UPS says it's been delivered to their warehouse already. Couple weeks ago they sent me the wrong size item, Authentication and payouts taking forever… not sure if they have a bunch of new hires running things over there or what but I might have to go the stockX route until they figure out their ****

Quick Question:

Are GOAT credits earned from purchases or sales on their platform?
If from sales, I can't seem to find out how many I have on the Alias or GOAT app. :ohwell:

PO

Never purchased from GOAT, but an eBay Seller listed his item with GOAT and sent it to them to hold it. It has been "Authenticated" already per the seller. My question is, I hate paying extra fees for merchandise, Does GOAT charge buyers any extra fees such as Processing, etc.. Seller mentioned that when I am ready to purchase, he will lower the price on GOAT so I can purchase it.

Should be fine. Besides tax and shipping there shouldn't be any extra fees on GOAT.

What about the other option to purchase where GOAT has it with them already? I tried to add something and go through checkout, it had a 6% fee tagged to it.
Oh forgot about that. Maybe get the seller to adjust the price so that 6% is included into it?

How do I find out what I have generated?
I have sold a few shoes though Alias, but I checked my settings & cant see anything. Thanks.

PO
Dont have Alias yet but in GOAT go to the sell tab and then click on credits and your history of sales and available/pending credits will show.

On the alias app, your ”Available Currency” is under the “Account” tab.

I see. I understood that as the money i made from selling a shoe.
I was curious about "GOAT credits" that sellers can receive by selling shoes on their app.

Thank you for responding.

PO

I understand that can be done, but that's still not what I'm referring too.

For instance, this week GOAT had this promotion:

Where would these type of credits appear? The same place?
I appreciate everyone's responses.

PO

my bad bruh. I suppose my response came off as a bit snobby. Now your question makes a bit more sense. Unfortunately, I never actually participated in one of the aforementioned promos so I don’t know the answer. Hopefully somebody else can chime in

Not mailing GOAT jack until they get caught up. Dropped off 4 pairs at the dropp off and all 4 were authenticated within the hour. Took 4 days for the last sales I sent to the warehouse via UPS.
