GOAT APP legit?

yes, hence why it tech takes long since no deliveries or anything is done on weekends unlike USPS where theres movements and deliveries on Saturdays

im an idiot. Youre right

regardless, I preferred USPS because it did arrive quicker to goat than UPS

BUT I think UPS is safer and especially scans packages into the system more quickly on drop off compared to some of the ****** post offices which give people issues and don't scan them as accepted and into the system til maybe 24 hours later in my experience

Without an exception all their ups 3 day select packages to them have taken 3 days or less all the way from ny. There's been several instances when I've gotten an authenticate notification before ups' status was even updated to delivered.

Finally got approved on GOAT to sell.
How long does it take for my listing to show up on the app?
On StockX is almost immediately but its been few hours since I posted on GOAT and it still isn't listed on the app.

In 24hrs... or whenever a specialist approves the listing.

I'm glad none of my post offices have ever refused to give me a receipt. I couldn't imagine not getting a manager involved if they refused...

all the ones I go to, like I mentioned before don't scan anything at the front desk even if asked.

I don't care if they do or don't, I usually try and drop off hours after I confirm the sale so I'm safe if it doesn't leave the post office til the next day.

but yea its scary that they don't give you receipt of acceptance. I know of one that does on the spot and its a tiny post office where its usually the post master at the front desk.

even UPS now doesn't really give receipt or anything unless specially asked and theres some that no matter what give you it and make you take the receipt

might not be battle worth fighting but they are supposed to give you a receipt. http://www.ecommercebytes.com/C/letters/blog.pl?/pl/2014/4/1396456422.html

Yea, starting last week I changed post offices. here they are strict about weight though. Even if you're off by an ounce :x :smh:

atleast now if I drop off at 2PM, it leaves the post office that same day unlike the old one close to my work, damn near mess. Says cut off timer same day processing is 5PM and id drop it of well before that, it wouldn't leave that post office til 7pm the next day. I used them for about 95% of my goat packages, had I not usually shipped same day I woulda been screwed

i had my phone number on a listing. told them to contact me for pics. lol. didnt even use any suspicious keywords. still got this. had the listing up for about a month by the way.

they losing business, they're going hard now man.

honestly if you can't sell to the right people on eBay. these new apps are the way to go, too much scamming going on on eBay either way. Go read up the eBay reddit. its insane

Once you reach 150 on seller score what does Shearable photo mean when they ask if you want to take pics or not?

anyone sold any XIs with some yellowing? did you guys list them as defects?
I would list them as new with defects and take pictures and list all defects. Other wise you might get that email would you like to offer a discount

I sold my 2011 concords on it. I'm pretty sure any buyer should know if they're buying XI on it over a year old that its gonna have yellowing.

GOAT isn't gonna ding you for yellowing since it happens

I know but it says but if you take pics we'll generate a Shearable photo unless they misspelled shareable lol
Probably a misspelling or maybe a stock photo. Once reached, I don't see why someone would take pics unless there's defects.

Adjusted some prices and sold three pairs today :pimp:

Had my first bad experience with GOAT today, decided to sell an item accepting a buyer's highest offer. Took a day for them to review and approve the pictures, but never got any notification that a sale was processing. I'm just sitting here waiting to ship my shoes, and all I see now is that they are approved as a new listing and not as "sold".

Been talking to customer service but they've been very vague and doesn't seem to understand my situation.

Anyone else go through this?

Cool, so it's safe to say that they've backed out of the sale? Just want to make sure since I don't want to get docked for selling the shoes elsewhere.

Edit: said **** it, went ahead and sold it on StockX lol

Had this happen to me before. What I was told a couple of months ago was basically if you send your sale request to the highest offer but you just posted the item for sale, meaning your photos are just being reviewed,  the sale has not been completed. Meaning that while your shoes are being approved for sale, the buyer can retract his offer (they don't know about your acceptance because your shoes are still technically "not for sale" ) or another seller who has his shoes already approved for sale can lower his price to meet the highest offer before your pictures are approved, leaving you with the shoes up for sale but without the original buyer. What I began to do was post all my items for sale, some at very high prices on purpose just so that if i decide to sell at a qualifying offer all I do is lower the price to meet the buyers offer and not wait till an offer is available to avoid this "reviewing" time. I dont know if this makes any sense.
