This planet is definitely a stepping stone for us in our greater journeys.i think earth is like a evolutionary kindergarten.
I necessarily didn't feel the need to holla at the pre-schoolers when i graduated.

If we don't know anything really about the universe, how do you know there is no such thing as god?
Probably because they would dislodge the current system in place where all of our time and emotion is focused on sex, money and other frivolous desires.

if aliens revealed themselves most of us would rush to the nearest computer to make a nt thread about itIf we don't know anything really about the universe, how do you know there is no such thing as god?

would you really go to work tomorrow if aliens revealed themselves worldwide?
or would you be at the house all day

Where's that picture of a brain cell next to the galaxy? Thing blew my mind first time I saw it, stopped, and thought about it
That's the thing. What if we rename god as "the universe". God is nothing but a name for the "creator". The universe is the "creator" in a sense. I think the notion of "god" has been twisted into a sense that a giant man watched over us.......
In a sense there is no such thing as life and death. We're just a random state (form) of energy. When we "die" it's nothing more than our current state of random energy being redeposited into another. If energy cannot me destroyed or created are we really born? Do we really die? By definition, no, we are all "ever lasting", our state of being is the only thing that changes. If you want to go even deeper, we're all one and the same. We all come from the same energy. We are just different arrangements of the same energy.....
Just some food for thought

If we don't know anything really about the universe, how do you know there is no such thing as god?
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.”
And God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.”
Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.
And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so.

So basically "God" is a magician

Think aliens created us,srs.
Probly created the concept of god to keep us united in a way.
Naw b...Well said man. God is The Creator. He made everything and everyone in His image.

Depends on your definitions of GOD and the universe. I'd answer with I don't know but depending on how you define GOD it could be an easy no.Are they same? Are they different?
I don't believe there is one so no they don't but for ppl who do believe in GOD I don't see why they can't coexist.Do they coexist?
Mankind doesn't know much about the observable universe as it is let alone the entire (if you can say that depending on if it's infinite or not) universe. How much do you believe mankind knows about the universe?
http://htwins.net/scale2/What do you categorize as universe (solar sytem n all that, and/or invisible forces)?
Most general definitions of the man made religious GOD have no evidence worth believing in the claim so it that version isn't the universe nor did it create it.What are your thoughts on this?

If energy cannot be created or destroyed, does it then mean that we have been here all along?![]()

Id say yes. Parts of us that made us. Not us as in your "soul". But all the elements that made you.
Like ndt said (no neckbeard), when the big bang happened, all that stars and **** that blew up and came here or form the earth and ****, those elements are a part of us.
