like i said vegas is hurting right now so there are some real crazy deals - almost all of these hotels are offering free room upgrades, comp tickets to spasand shows, food coupons, free plays etc

im thinking of booking for sept- but miami might win the battle as usual

Yeah Vegas is definitely hurting...I always get offers for suits at the Venetian starting at like $99 to about $149...and I've never stayed there.

Was recently up in Tahoe for a day, and they phased out table games at some of the places because they're hurting for folks. Couldn't believe it.

I'd def book directly w/ the hotel though, screw a orbitz or whatever especially if you're with 6-10 people. See what they can do for you.

make sure when you go, you and your boys try to put your gambling on the same players card, that way yall got a better chance of getting comp offers.

Treasure Island is right in the middle of the strip, cool prices and fine broads be at the pool.

TI is actually almost at the end of the strip and it has the worst pool ever. That thing looked like a public pool by it's small size.
It's not a bad place to stay though but the pool really sucks.

Your best bet is to stay at one of the newer hotels in the middle-new end of the strip. For example : Venetian, Palazzo, Bellagio, Wynn, Mandalay Bay (or THEHotel tower), Planet Hollywood they just remodeled and its really nice...... If you dont want the casino part you can stay at Trump International or TheSignature. You can always go to the pools at other hotels, Like the Hard Rock pool is cracking always but I dont like their rooms

Normally rooms at these hotels would be more expensive but with the economy how it is you should all take advantage and stay in a nicer place then you normallywould be able to afford.

TI, Luxor, Flamingo, Tropicana, Rio, Hilton, Ballys, Circus Circus, Imperial Palace ect.... all those places are garbage they were cool 15 years ago. In Vegasafter 15 years they blow the buliding up normally so if you are going to relax in style you dont want to stay there. If you are just going to get trashed andwant somewhere to crash out then yeah they are cool to stay at.

Bottle service at clubs can be expensive if you dont have any connects but I would not ever go to a club without VIP service.

Normally if you know someone you can get comped tables, on busy nights you can at least get buy one get one. So whatever bottle you pick to buy and then youget a free bottle of the house sponsor (normally vodka) whether its Level or Kettle One or Grey Goose ect...

For tourists you will normally have a two bottle minimum per table for the night depending what club you are at and if its that clubs hot night of the week. The menu always changes but lately I've seen bottles as cheap as 300 (like sky or malibu). You should always tip 20% on each bottle even if its comped

They just shut down Prive which blows but there are a lot of other great places that have been mentioned in here. Body English isnt bad as well

Also, What is this talk about, if I tip the lady at the front desk a $20 she will upgrade my room? Is this true?

nobody can tell you forsure

its the same ANYWHERE....its basically a tip...and in vegas tips get you things...try it out if you lose the 20 you lose it, or you might get an upgrade orthey might give it back to you-
theres no definite answer cause it all depends on who your dealing with and when your dealing with them

ive gotten upgraded to suites and special rooms - sometimes didnt even need the $20 -

just give them the $ with your id/ccard and ask if theres any upgrades available...theres no science or def spots to do it

Anybody?

I've stayed at Mandalay Bay but it was super far from the rest of the strip so I say Treasure Island and I heard they have pretty good rates. I would double up on the room and make sure they're connected. We rolled with 6 people and took 2 rooms and it was nice to not be in a room alone when you're super loaded and need someone just in case.
This is what I had in mind, looking on going to vegas next summer, prolly 6 or 7 deep.
did both rooms have 2 beds each?
How did the sleeping arrangements work out? pause
Im curious too. How did the sleeping arrangements work out. Did the two rooms have enough beds for all of yall or did they couches you can turninto beds too?

landed back home earlier today

stayed at the mgm, had a great time but blew soooo much money

didn't get a chance to hit up tao or xs but body english at the hard rock was a freakin blast (house music)
