i was a wreck, thought things couldnt get better, i got well i got my family back and most importantly im alive..

i know it might seem like you're alone but there are people that care about you, whether you know it or not...

i felt so alone and little did i know, my fam was praying everynight for me to get better...

the money will come my man, and there are places you can go if you are in need of food and shelter and also if you feel like harming yourself..

im not religious or anything but find the nearest church and talk to someone, those people are always willing to help especially during these times..

I hate when people beg someone to not end their lives. Y'all don't know what this man is going through or has been through. Let him do what he wants

Jk. But for real don't murk yaself bruh.

what do you want from this? a bunch of "no! dont do it bro!"'s that you wont even listen to?

in your other thread many people have said that it will be a rough road. quitting this road cause youre ashamed of how you will look like to others if they know youre down at the bottom shows what kind of life youve been living in your whole life. do not live for anyone else. do not other people opinions form your life. your past way of thinking hindered the evolution of your long term goal abilities. your emotions are fed by short term goals and attention. you are too negative and give up too quick. you seem like a humble guy, by thanking everyone and stuff, just to be happy for 20 mins then go back to being miserable. dont be scared of whats coming next in life. OPEN THE **** UP.

dont be ashamed to work at mcdonalds
dont be ashamed to be homeless
dont be ashamed to go to the soup kitchen and seeing people you know on the way in
dont be ashamed of getting turned down
dont be ashamed of the awkward silences of shame when you your hand out and no one gives you anything.
work hard you *****.
everyone has their quicksand.
if its not working, work smarter.
dont be ashamed of being called a ***** if you are one. DEAD SERIOUS.
dont ******g kill yourself.
be aware that you have to change 180 degrees in how you see/handle/dissect things.
be aware that being ashamed of being looked down upon is a product of spoiledness, standards and egos. which can all be changed.
be aware there is no written rule to all humans on earth that by the age of 30 you should be married and have kids and nice home and a net worth of 350k to 450k.
be aware that this wont get fixed tmr.
be aware that this wont get fixed next week.
be aware that something positive today is a better tomorrow than tomorrows no positive today.
be aware that this wont get fixed next month.
be aware that next month will be better than today if you are positive that you will make it better.

you have two ******g working legs. two ******g working arms. two ******g working eyeballs to see beautiful ****. and ears to hear beautiful sounds. you got working balls and a ****. you live in ******g america. theres people in africa that dont even commit suicide.

you want to give up on life, when actual your actual life, as a whole, is a once in a lifetime opportunity. you want to end it when you didnt even try EVERYTHING yet. go be homeless, see how it is. go be homeless in another country see how it is. go use the rest of your cash to a one way ticket to thailand or something. explore the life youve never lived because youre so hung on up on this one. dont be scared or ashamed to have fun. leave your crappy people in the past. find some new people. your little bubble is not the only bubble in this huge *** world. make new bubbles. big or/and small. hold on to the good ones. and dont let TIME discourage you. your other thread was a couple days ago tops. and you are giving up. wow. congrats. dont ******g kill yourself. JUST DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT with YOUR life.

//end rant

life is really tough man, and there are always people out there who will make you feel bad about yourself in many different ways, and there are certainly those out there in the world who will be kind to you in return. look at all the responses on here if you want to believe me.

you might have experienced tough failure in the past, and maybe you let down your own expectations. I know exactly how you are feeling right now and I hope you haven't taken that path yet, because I know you still have at least one more awesome thing to get to in your life. Doesn't matter if it is a goal, place, person, or event, but I know you have something left that is worth being around for.

we all don't want you to go away, because that is another perspective we will lose on this site, and we certainly can't afford to lose any more recipes.

make one goal at a time, and whatever it takes to achieve it, go for it. I think life is a goal worth achieving.

I know it may not seem like it at this current time. But things WILL get better OP , just have some faith and be strong. When you are finally through with this misery, you will truly experience the joys of life. Suicide is NEVER the answer, no matter how you try and justify it.

There are once professional athletes with terminal diseases. Some extraordinary people who at their prime , lost their limbs . Guess what? They continue to move forward and you should to. The most selfish , irresponsible, LOSER thing to do is to commit suicide.

Can someone embedd this video for this guy please . The YouTube title is " Rocky Balboa's inspirational speech to his son"

Thanks.

remember it always gets better bruh... seek help. I don't know about irl but plenty us are willing to listen

We only have one life bro. Even though you could be going through the worse of the worse, even though you could be feeling as low as can be...just remember that you only have one life. Whether you give up now, or die 50 years from now, either way life ends at some point.

So why not try to make the best of it? If you gonna die someday anyways, you might as well try to turn things around one last time.
Make some changes, some REAL changes.

Not just a hair cut or a new pair of jeans. Real life changing decisions. Move to a different city. Find some new friends. I know its harder than it seems, but its POSSIBLE if you put the time into it.

Just give it a chance man, talk to some people. Everyone here is available for help.

anyone know dude? Mods can't use IP to send notice to local authorities?

8o

Is this 100%.... obviously can't read emotions on here.

If it is, OP stay strong bro. Think positive.

THINK OF YOUR FAMILY/FRIENDS AND HOW THEY WILL FEEL. YOU CAN POTENTIALLY ALTER AND DESTROY A LOT OF LIVES BY DOING THIS ACT. THINK TWICE. PLEASE.

this will give you an idea of what kind of issues OP is facing..
Hello this may not be the right place for this but does anyone have/had parents who are addicted to drugs?  My Father was an abuser when I was younger, but when my little Sis was born he gave it all up. Over the past year or so our family has been through a lot and I know his life has been very stressful. I suspect and fear that he has started using again.

I dont know what to say or do.  Any and all advice is greatly appreciated..

Was just talking to my grandpa about this.
2008-2010 was the darkest time in my life.

Barely passed any of my classes, in fact I was scraping D's whenever I could. Counselor told me I'd have to do my best to graduate college with a 2.0
My mom and stepdad were breaking up and nothing seemed to work for me.

I always liked movies/photos, so I bought a camera and it really changed my life.
Made it out the void and barely graduated college. Now, I'm chasing my dream in grad school and starting with a 3.6gpa.

I beat that darkness and now I look back at how weak I was and the fact that taking my life was an actual option I considered.
Don't do it man, get help/seek help/ talk to friends. I opened up to my friends about how bad I was and found out they were on hard times too.
That being able to talk to somebody about your problems, gives you that push you need and let's you know people care about you.

Be strong bruh. you are the master of your fate, you are the captain of your soul.
Don't let your legend end with suicide.

First off any nters saying why post on here should remember that we all consider each other closer than friends even though we couldn't pick 99% of us out of a line up, even though i feel you guys on the whole crying for attention steez you have to remember all the cries that went un-heard on NT alone.

Just last year didn't some cat from the dunk threads commit a fatal mistake while on campus? As a Forum i need not remind you that we're nothing short of a community/ family bonded by similarities or differences that make us one in the same, If your brother falls would you not pick him up? I myself have thought about doing some dumb **** but a simple convo with a stranger in the library, mall, store, etc actually saved me from those thoughts. Also you guys have to realize that the holiday season bring about the happiest time but also the highest suicide rate all year.

As for op I kinda feel where you're coming from but as someone who has seen the destruction and toll a suicide has on a family and friends i'm here to tell my story as a bit of light through the tunnel for you.

All my life I've been nothing short of a disappointment to myself and subsequently felt like a let down to my family, I was kicked out of high school and middle school 3 times each and my whole life never got anything higher than a d in school. From middle school to junior year in high school my average gpa was 0.03 for christ sakes. When i was 12 i made a silly school yard mistake that cost me quite a bit, I took candy from a kid but was charged with 5 felonies and 8 misdemeanors that would have me serving 3 months in juvie and would put me on probation until i was 21. From the time i was 10 until 16 i was homeless at least 5 times. I've never had a place to call a home for more than 3 years i've lived in the city(SFC), Daly city, Pacifica, Pittsburg(CA), Fremont, East Palo Alto, Redwood city, San Mateo, Foster city, Hillsdale, Alameda, I even moved to Nevada(sparks).

But between the moving to different schools and states/cities i decided that my life would ultimately be what i make it out to be, so i got back into school senior year and buckled down, i ended up getting all a's the first semester at a continuation school but was told on December 09, 2008 that my accumulated 120 credits(you need 230 to graduate) would all be taken away because of my principle giving credits for misc. actions like showing up on time and riding the bus to school. At that point i'm 17 and have just been told that all my hard work wasn't gonna pay off and would be revoked by the end of the day. Even though i was 17 they told me i could no longer attend high school and had to transfer to adult school and do classes at a JC until i turned 18 and could take my G.E.D ( this was in December and i wouldn't be 18 until the following October) in order to graduate from high school.

At that point i was also kicked out of my sisters house because i wasn't going to school, which i was but the day they checked up on me i had skipped because i was thinking about what i could do, I ended up in Fremont at Washington high for a bit and decided that this would be my breaking point, so i switched over to an adult school a month before school ended because it was like a knife to the heart seeing every one in my grade and classes talk about graduating and picking out caps and gowns and i'm stuck in Dante's academic inferno. I studied for the better part of half a year and ended up scoring a 700 average on my test (google GED averages to get a better understanding of why i'm proud of my score).

I got a job the month after passing my test and held down another job long enough to save up enough to buy myself my first car and get my license ( I can't describe how good it felt to take my driving test in a car that i had been working 70 hours a week to save up for :smokin ) and worked there the past 2 years only making minimum wage. But in July found out the place I've been calling home would be foreclosed in September, so my famb did a short sale and ended up moving leaving me and my brother to find our own way and the house closes out this Sunday.

Now my brother's another story but let's just say that even though he's 2 years my senior i'm still the big brother and he has $300 to his name right now instead of half of the 2 racks necessary. So we had to be out this week or end up homeless again, so i started a new job that made more money and found 2 places that are willing to take on our tenancy, one just called saying that we'd need a co-signor because of my brothers low credit score. But while typing this story i received another call from the other place telling me that i could move in as soon as i filled out all the paper work . The moral of this story is that no matter what happens as long as you remain firm in your stride and beliefs you'll eventually succeed in all endeavours. So OP keep you're head up.
