I've been there before, and it is a dark place. Suicide is a touchy subject but I tend to sympathize with those who kill themselves because I've been through depression before. I understand why people do it. But think about it. The pain you feel now won't be even close to the pain that the rest of your loved ones will feel. That's the biggest reason I didn't do it. The other being that we're young and we've got our lives ahead of us, wouldn't it be a waste to just call it quits? Think about the accomplishments you will achieve if you work hard at life. Whatever is bothering you, whether it be illness, personal relationships, financial struggles - find a way to get through it and make it better. It is never easy, but that's life. You can either better yourself and your situation, or stay depressed - the choice is yours. I'll put it in simple terms: if you wanna stop struggling, smile, work hard, and keep fighting. Do not be afraid to talk to anyone here or even myself if you need a hand. Best of luck to you OP.

If you need to talk, reach out. You may be like me. You don't wanna reach out because you'd feel like "less of a man" since you can't handle it internally? I can understand if you feel that way. But one thing I learned is that NOBODY achieves happiness alone. NOBODY. Remember that. Reach out.
