Yea Kennedy is pretty bad. It's kinda of hard to express what I'm trying to say. Those Hayward/SLZ high schools aint even that hood like that, it'sjust a depressing #$% atmosphere.

I haven't and this story doesn't really involve anyone getting jumped but as a kid my cousins and i used to hang out at my grandmas house a lot, it wasin the middle of gang territory. One day we were out playing in front of the house, next thing i know i hear tires chirping and see a car flying around acorner with 3 dudes sticking out of the car, one in each rear window and one dude sticking out of the sunroof blasting on some dudes across the street at apark. @%@* was scary as hell and i remember diving on to the ground. Cops came, no one was hit but it was scary as hell. This was in the early 90's.

never seen anyone get jumped for no reason around where i live. but i've seen hella fights, movie theatres, parks, schools. I never got into any fightsthough.

growing up in the projects in Bk you see altercations everyday..basic rules is mind your business if it doesnt include you or your peeps (nothing wrong withspectating) and be ready to throw down when it does include you and your peeps..oh yeah and never run

Man i'm stayin' 5 minutes away from Arroyo. RIGHT NOW. San Leandro High is way worse than both SLZ and Arroyo and it's not even thatbad there. Couple fires and riots but nothing compared to any schools in Oakland. Worse than CASTLEMONT? Really?Originally Posted by maxb7ty

You didn't read my post. I'm don't mean grimey like that. I mean like grimey, dirty, just depressing. Playing in the HAAL I grew to hate thoseschools. I said it's hard to explain, but those schools I was talking about just seemed like terrible places to go to go to school.

My high school had a bunch of hood people who had to protect their street cred and weren't raised like normal human beings.
In my freshman year, I remember this one dude who missed about a month of school because he was jumped near this bridge that he had to cross to get home. Hewas jumped by over 10 people. He could have lost his life because of those hooligans.
I've seen people get jumped in the hallway after getting chased around the school by a group of hoodlums.
Sometimes, the hood people would close the locker room doors after leaving the gym, to prevent anyone from stopping them from jumping the person they werelooking for.
