How Early Do You Get Up Before Work?

holeup.png

Nothing grinds my gears more than long commutes to work, I would go insane with a commute that long

its definitely a hike but i am used to it... i just throw the music on and im good as long as theres no traffic lol...where i live im far from everything but hopefully i get a place thats closer to my job soon... im just glad i dont have to rely on public transportation because its even worse since its so unreliable

Start at 8:30 am, live about 10 blocks from my job.

I set the alarm for 6:45 and snooze until about 7:10am, shower, make breakfast, pack my gym clothes in my bag, watch some First Things First and chill.

I iron my clothes for work the night before. I leave my crib at 8:10am and I'm at the office by 8:30 walking.

I don’t start until noon, so I wake up whenever I wake up. Pretty much depends on how late I stayed up the night before. Generally it’s around 8 AM though.

My ride to work is only about 24 minutes and somehow I’m always almost late even with having a 4 hour headstart. :lol :{

5:15: Wake Up
5:20: Showers
5:50: Iron Clothes
6:05: Make breakfast
7:10: Leave Home for Train
8: 00: Arrive at work

I work in an office so I don’t need to get there at a strict time. But I usually wake up, take 10 min to get ready and then head out the door. Drink my coffee and eat breakfast while checking emails in the morning.

Why do all the morning stuff on my time hehe

About 2 hours and 15 minutes before. If drive to work i wake up at 6:45.

If i take the train i can be sleep about half hour more and stroll in early.

Wake up @ 6am & I have to be @ work for 8:30am. I spend a lot of time bs'n from 6am - 7am :smh:. I should be ironing (best to do it da night before honestly), showering, or packing lunch. I'm working on doing better though. Told myself just go on da internet when I get to work instead of grabbing my ipad when I wake up . I probably shouldn't cut my tv on either but I'll probably never break that habit.

I takes me anywhere from 28 - 30+ minutes to get to work. Really depends all on da traffic or construction.

Been getting up 4:30ish. Clock in at 5.
Work is only 4-10 minutes drive.

An hour/45 min before it's time to leave. That's if I don't gym in the AM. My commute can be as fast as 10-20 minutes total door to door, as long as the train cooperates.

No gym - up at 7:15/30, out by 8:20-30.
Gym - up at 6, out by 8:20-30.

Days I have to take the kid to school 2 and a half hrs, When I don’t hour and a half and 28 min commute

7:30-4

Wake up at 5:30 and out the door by 5:45.
30 minutes to get there depending on traffic.
Hour to get back home. I take my showers at night so I can have more time to sleep. I miss my old job since it was only 15 minutes away

wake up at 7:30, wash up, dress and then leave the house by 7:50 for my 1 hour commute.

on days i work from home i wake up at 8:50 lol

idk how yall wake up so early and make breakfast and all that lol. id rather get more sleep.

Crazy commute to cover ~60 miles or so in the morning in the Bay Area.

From Richmond all the way to Mountainview usually takes 2+ hours on a regular workday without any accidents. I get up around 5am or so and my total commute back is also 2+ hours. Stacked enough bread along with a great upgrade in my job to move down to cut the commute to like 20minutes. Been doing this for 2 years and it's starting to take a toll on me no lie.

Bro, props to you with that commute to Mountain View.

work at nine alarm is ringing by 5:05 am. Smoke, coffee, meditate, yoga, smoke while walking dog, shower, leave for work at 8:15.

right now my wife is at home with a newborn and my son has a week until summer school so i wake up about 30-45 minutes before work and make a breakfast for my son and put it in a container on the counter for when he wakes up, throw some extra diapers on the spot where my wife does diaper changes throughout the day, fill up her yeti cup with ice and water, kiss everyone goodbye while they're asleep, then i head into work. 15 minute commute.

not sure what we'll do in a few months when my son will be in school, my wife will be back to work, and my daughter will go to daycare. i'll be getting up much earlier and getting to work much later.

usually 1.5 hours before i am on site (client facing)...up @ 5:30am, otd @ 6:30am, on site @ 7am

if i need to wear a tie i give myself an extra 30 mins to figure out how to get it right

Wake up at 6:15am. Out the house by 7am and at work by 7:30-7:40 depending on traffic.

Usually about 2 hours prior to start of work, this gives me time to shower, walk the dog and help get the kids ready. My drive to work is 15 minutes (plus another 15 if I stop to grab lunch or coffee on the way). Commute will be about 30 min when I move in a couple months.
