Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure these are the original colorways from '91/'92. I always thought the '91 pairs were the ones with the traditional Nike tongue tag and the '92 editions were the ones with the huarache circle tongue tag. Prior to 2021, you could always spot an OG shoe by the fact that they had the large cutout flex grooves on the midsole/outsole.

Nice. I believe that is all of the original colorways. Glad you mentioned the flex grooves. It appears that Nike finally corrected them on this recent retro. Prior retros always had a rubber piece where the midsole and outsole meet.

I've been fighting the urge--successfully so far--to buy more Huarache runners on this go around. I have two pairs of Purple Punches (one DS, the other worn three times so far), a pair of DS Magentas, plus a beater pair at this point of Resins, and I've recently sold a couple other pairs I was sitting on just because a few years had passed and I never got around to wearing them. I'm even skipping this redo of the Scream Greens. Skipped the Stussys. But this white/red par is probably going to get me if it's legit and releases in the U.S.

What I REALLY wish I could get is a pair of the white/black/red Flight Huarache PE Pip wore in some games in '92. I've never really referred to any shoe as a "grail," but come to think of it now, that might be the one I would give that name to. Never gonna happen, though. But these runners remind me of those enough to buy a pair.
