living on your own isnt that much.. if you're goin to college its even better, because you'll have the oppurtunity to meet even more new people. thenyou guys will have a chill spot at your place

Really though, I think OP is a tad dramatic and to say that you are being a little selfish is quite theunderstatement . Like most said just grow up I hope you at least have a job. You're old enough to stop freeloading off of your parents especially underthese circumstances. Relieve them of a little stress and actually try making rent. Getting a pet is also a great idea. Not judging you but your parents areextremely nice to offer to pay your rent. Your mind is obviously already made up. You plan on staying, so deal with your decision. I don't see where youneed help here.
