Not for nothing, but a lot of these "tests" are based on your experience as a ny'er. The Houston question is probably one of the only questions every NY'er would answer the same. Born and raised in queens and up until a year or two I had no idea what DUMBO meant. I had to ask my wife. She's from BK.

Forget the Pavilion, remember the movie theater on Church Ave? They got it replaced with a Modells (Another NY Test), anyway I remember some dude got shot up when they was playin Life (Ironic huh) and they closed it down....... Anyway I put going to Temptations on my bucket list cuz I swore to myself I would never go clubbin in BK but I had this white girl from Miami tell me about it so I'm dumb embarassed.......

The Kenmore Theater...I used to live 2 blocks down from it, on East 21st .

Dudes got a grandmother they used to spend Sundays with growing up out in South East and they claiming territory like they grew up there. 

I live in PG county, Clinton to be exact, and I was born in DC, I don't claim it like I've lived there my whole life. Yes, I rep the entire DMV area, Yes I spend almost everyday In Virginia and DC, but I live in Maryland. I have lived in Maryland my entire life until I moved out to Arlington 2 years ago, which even now I've moved back to Maryland. 

Sometimes people try so hard to be from "the city" that they don't realize that its not where you're from, it's where you're at... If you were born in NYC and your family moved to VA when you were 4, YOU ARE FROM VIRGINIA... Stop fronting like you are an inner city kid. Hell, I'm from PG county and a lot of us are more of inner city kids than these #+$@#* parading around claiming to be from NYC. 

If you can't navigate through a metro/subway system by yourself or give instructions by street names through a city district, don't even claim any inner city. Alot of cats be fakin'... And its a shame. I'm proud of where I'm from. I may have grown up in a suburbia home, but that doesn't dictate who I am. 

I love this entire area, from MD to DC to VA, but I know where I'm from. No point in lying about it to people for "cool points"

Oh yeah, and If you don't know where the hood ends and where what we like to call "where the white people live" starts, just tell the truth when someone asks you where you're from.

 I used to get my kicks from there back in high school. If blacks are spending their money on a product, asians are most likely owners of those shops.
