Inner City Littering

You’re a douche if you litter.

if I’m in the country, which I am a lot I’ll chuck a banana peel or whatever in the woods but that’s food and something will eat that or it will turn to dirt.

If you’re throwing plastic and cans and all that on the ground you gotta stop.
So your littering is better than theirs?

I also have a theory that some people litter as an oitward expression of bucking the system.

I literally just saw a girl put a "Cup of Noodles" external card board wrapper on a railing inside the Metro system. There was a trash can 10 seconds away from her. I also see similar practices on the street where folks litter in close proximity to trashcans.

And I still randomly see Lil Debbie wrappers in my front yard at random times.

reading too much in it..cats just lazy.

I used to litter up until a few years ago when it finally hit me that its a bad look, I just didnt give a F before...there are trash cans everywhere so it wasn't a tough change for me

Littering is wack, but I don't considering throwing food in the grass littering. But plastic, aluminum, etc... just wack. Especially considering there are so many receptacles in the average park.

On top of people littering, I hate when dumpsters and trash can get overly full halfway through the day without a company or public services doing anything about it. I feel like that gets some people to think that trying is a waste of time. Also, if you're going to attemped a long-ranged shot and you miss, pick it up because you could have just easily ******* walked right next to it and toss it in. You don't get points for "trying".

I hate when the trash at the drive thru is overflowed, clearly higher than the liner, yet people still stuff trash in there and even stack their cups on top of the lid or put it on the ground next to the can. Obnoxious. Too lazy to get out of their car just hold on to their trash.

People litter mainly due to lack of pride in their community or as a way to flip the bird to a system that failed them.

Animals can consume banana peels. Hell humans can too. Dude said he did it in the country. I don't think he was driving through Times Square chucking banana peels Mario Kart style.

Dude just had to play the contrary role.

And yeah I’m not tossing banana peels and apple cores on Times Square and on the floor at target.

I only considering throwing away food scraps as littering when people throw it on concrete .

But I am looking at it from a gardening Mindset

Sometimes I throw food UNDER the concrete. Mad banana peels under stoplight posts and no one will ever know. :lol

that's not bucking the system man, that's being an entitled, lazy sack of **** that wasn't raised correctly.

Two things can be true.

I do feel LOOKING like "you don't care" is a look many people desire.

I think littering gives folks that look

Sort of related but how do you guys feel about people who don’t return shopping carts to the designated area?

THAT is another super lazy act to me.

I think it was sc kid who once said people treat it like they’re returning the one ring to Mordor.

I park far away from the grocery store entrance so when I’m done and put the groceries in my car, I def don’t feel like returning the cart to the front of the store again. I put it against something so it doesn’t move and hit a car though.
