I'd agree with that list.

If the World Cup was every year, maybe it gets moved down, but the fact that it's 4 years between each and you're playing for your home country... you can't beat that.

Sure there were some great matchups last year, but the NBA playoffs are exhausting. Too many days in between games, it goes on for far too long, and it's almost a relief when it's finally done.

But for me, it has to be the first Sunday of the NFL regular season.

Superbowl is only one game therefore at a disadvantage when it comes to excitement compared to the World Cup and March Madness.
