Is YAO done?

People quickly forget about Yao's skill level. In that one thread said I'd start a franchise with Dwight over Yao all day. The reason was mainly based on health, not skill.

I say give the man time to get back to form. If he can't make it through this season, then I'd say he's done.

It was messed up how China basically gave him no rest to start his NBA career.

He's done. Its a damn shame because he problably could of beasted if he didn't have all these damn injuries.

When was that?  He was NEVER undoubtedly the best center in the L.  Yao Ming was never gonna be this great dominant force.  He's a skilled center and that's just what it is.
From when he entered the L until Dwight came?

I'd say from 04-07 he was the best center hands down.
This.

So why was he only on the NBA second team in 2007 and 2009? He is lucky his fan base is so strong or else everyone would be throwing around the term bust

Averaging 12 and 7 on 22 minutes...for most NBA centers, that's considered a contract year

I thought something happened to him when I read this title.

He's still effective for 23-24 minutes of work a game. I'm sure if he played 35+ minutes, he can definitely get back to his 20-10 career numbers. But I'm glad that his minutes are being watched... we'll see what happens with that number later down the season.

He ain't done.

He not but he'll never be what he was or what he could've been at this point.
