Jordan's are nothing but a "I got them" badge of honor. YES they are a rat staple. Matter of fact, now when I think of Jordan's I don't think of basketball, I think of birds.

i've gotten quite involved in an aussie sneaker group on fb. been doing quite a lot of trade. sold most of my "heat" cuz i'm utterly bored of retros. i've essentially sworn off of jays 1-14. only a few pairs left. focusing mainly on later models, lebrons (from the ix onward), kd from vi and kobe from 8. i intended for the group to supplement my online sneakertime but it has monopolised it. i feel bad for neglecting nt :wink: haha

newer retros have less padding but that are also actually way bigger. the 03's i had fit perfect tts, whereas the more recent models were .5-1 size big. they felt like boats on my feet. jb are hopeless with sizes. when guys online ask my size, i say i'm a true 9, but with jordan you might as well roll some dice.
 
Yah in my sneaker fb group I have met a couple people who are sick wit it. One guy I know owns like 5% of all the DB3s shipped to Chicago. Hes not a reseller. He just rotates through the 50sum pairs of DB3s in his collection (makes his money gambling) and has access to Quais and Ducks. He actually inspired me to start gambling.

I also met someone else who is more or less the same way, but he is a douche. He has money tho so he don't mind sitting Bred and Royal 1s at $700 until it is sold. :smh: If you have money for PEs and samples then there are few people you can go through. He is one of them and he knows it.

Otherwise I have been doing good. Not too recently sold half my collection myself. I dont mind having a small collection. I used to money to pay for the CPA exam. Im almost done. Once I go back into buying shoes hard like I once did I will be more into NSW retroes and asics runners. I'll go back to SBs as well and I'll still grab jays and modern shoes that I like. Besides "OG" 1s I have gotten like 3 retros in the last 2 years. But the only "must have/keep" Js to me are 1s, 4s, and 5s. They could stop making the rest and I would give no dambs (even then I didnt mess with the recen 5 run).

For people who don't like to wait in line or play the jordan release game. $200+ price tag is not too bad for what people who buy off of online/reseller. I'm sure yo've copped shoes for that price or more. For better quality its an even trade except they should of been great quality from the start imo. Hopefully they'll last longer and won't fall apart. There will always something that I'll like and cop 2015 looks promising.
 
I knew someone that gambled for a living and his life was literally a roller coaster. He'd have millions one year then be in debt the next. crazy.

Them dudes loose in one way or another eventually.. It's a addicting disease for some...definitely not recommended I've seen alot happen from that world

Meanwhile Jb needs to do true heavy premium quality for 250+ to keep these kids away..call me crazy but I don't buy jordans from jb nomore I pay that price anyway for older stuff from collectors so if quality matches why not id pay it

For those saying that's too much and they wouldn't pay that much that's exactly my point..:lol:

I've made a solid return every month playing live cash games no limit hold em, both in local casinos and underground ring games. I haven't had a losing month since 2009. I play 3-4 times a week. 

I actually saved up for the downpayment on my townhouse with poker winnings, while paying my actual bills with my waiting tables money. It can be done, you just have to be really disciplined. But in all fairness, I don't consider poker "gambling." It's a skill game. It's not like when I bet money on sports, blackjack, craps, etc....that's what I consider "gambling", and I've taken my losses doing those things just like everyone else.

GJ! You may be the very few who are talented or works hard at getting better. For most, down the road isn't so pleasant like lotto winners. Cuz when you win you want to win more and when you win often you feel unbeatable. Not knockin your game at all if you can do it big help me out I wanna retire early and buy all the shoes I want.
 
Two guys I know....

One plays blackjack but isnt disciplined. He makes some ridiculous bets but he always comes out 100k ahead at the end of the year. He will literally lose a lot of money for weeks straight, then one day you meet him at the casino and he cashes out 40k. Hell well often catch him when he is 20 or so grand up and he will just bet it all instead of calling it a day. He is one of my friends from college buddies. He says he doesnt like have a ridiculous amount of spare cash anyway because he will get in trouble. From the stories I heard about him I believe it. Even with 5k its easy to get into some dumb **** in the Chi.

The guy I just posted plays baccarat. He used to post statuses all the time that was like "made 4,200 out of 300" and show the chips. IDK what he makes a year tho. It aint chump change.

I would be foolish not to learn what they did. Especially since the one who plays blackjack is willing to teach me. I know I'll make smarter bets than him. I have been learning too. Made 700 a few weeks ago but needed to spend it. that was only my third time actually gambling and not just watching/hanging out.

Count his losses. Blackjack Is 60/40 house favor (unless you play with a group of friends That plAy min/Max bets on a single-triple shoe deck )
 
I was told it was 52/48 at the table he plays.

They have different black jack tables with different odds here. Can't remember all of them

No limit Texas Holdem Poker is the only REAL card game. Black jack is for tourists and requires little to no skill. Learn no limit hold em, not black jack if u wanna make some money.
