You replied by comparing that to a Heroine addict, specifically Miles Davis being a druggy. Straw man fallacy # 1.
Keeping in mind we are talking about Kevin Samuels view on women who are entitled and have unrealistic standards (this is the topic), you bring up The bible, you brought up the Quran, how women were treated. Basically multiple straw man’s you set up to on your own to attack an argument that had nothing to do with how women were treated in the past. Totally Irrelevant.
Tomdiginson then say’s your example of Miles Davis does not translate to the common person, and is a unique situation. Your reply was that this example (some how) was supposed to show that men & women aren’t treated equal. Again, off topic and not the point of discussion That’s another straw man.
You then in the same post make a claim that women have to choose between a career and having a family and men do not, (which is totally incorrect) but what you failed to do is provide the whole context as well. Men are expected to be the bread winner and make more money, they also have to do most of the pursuing and asking out. You can’t just compare apples to oranges and then say See, this proves it’s an unfair advantage.
You give another prime example of this myopic womanist view that you have by saying A man can have kids and is simply doing his job, then you change the parameters and say if he has a kid out of wedlock it doesn’t diminish his value. Sir, how many women do you know that would date a single father, this proves that you don’t know as much as you think you do about women. Sounds like you’ve been spoon fed talking points. His stature greatly diminishes.
This is just the tip of the iceberg of the examples that I easily picked out of you dodging and attacking ghost arguments that wasn’t made and that was only 1 and a half pages.
Whatever you just copied and pasted above means nothing, except the fact that you can go online and google cherry picked information. A lot of it which can be challenged easily like the fact that men on a large scale do not even report spousal abuse from women to police because they are too scared and embarrased. See I tore apart another one of your dumb argument. It's too easy.
