Welp another big free-agent off the board. This is why I always hate the pipe dreams that so many Laker fans have every off-season. We say "well next offseason Jimmy Butler, Klay, etc. will be free-agents and we'll sign them". Most of these big name free agents will re-sign with their current teams between now and then.

Is it safe to say we won the Cavs trade? We got out from under Clarkson's contract and got a 1st rounder and the Cavs got 2 players who aren't currently aren't even in their rotation.

Real talk, I criticize Magic and Rob For being so obvious in telegraphing their intentions for this off season but if you look at it, every one of the moves they've made have been successful thus far. The Lou Williams trade got us a first rounder, the Dlo trade was successful, the picks from last year's draft have all worked out.
