I lost about 80 lbs over the past 2 years by changing the way I eat. My best suggestions for some trying to eat "clean" 

Keep processed foods to a minimum 

Cut your carbohydrate consumption

Eliminate artificial sugars and sodium from your diet 

Eat colorful (Green, Red, Yellow, White, Purple)

there are essential amino acids, your proteins

and essential fatty acids, your fats

no such thing as an essential carbohydrate

also, 2500 cals for a sedentary female?

3000 for sedentary male?

carbs arent that bad..

ive cut body fat consuming lots of carbs from fruits and nuts.

of course i gave up bread and didnt consume processed or fried foods.
 
How much chicken do you usually cook to last for the week?

Usually get a big pack of the boneless skinless that are on sale and there's about 4-6 breasts in each pack depending on the size. I stock up and freeze when there's an awesome sale.
 
If you're into seeing behind the scenes procedures at farms and harvesting plants, there's a short documentary on youtube called From Farm to Fridge. It's VERY DISTURBING, I couldn't bear to watch the whole thing. It really opens your eyes regarding what you're putting into your body.
 
Portion looks very small. How can you do that?

Its not tiny and its not big. That was lunch. I hate getting full for lunch cause I get sleepy afterwards. There is a about 2.5 cups of spinach half of a green and red apples. 3 sliced strawberries, and 3/4 cups of berries.

It's not just about what we eat, we need to know where it comes from. GMOs in food is a serious problem.
