I'd give the spinoff a try. It's just interesting they'd attempt it in the first place though.
The last show I've watched that had a spin off was Uber successful. I wouldn't put AoS in that category. Last I checked they're borderline in the ratings.

I think this tied in with Ultron. All the talk of Strucker and his interest in people with powers. They'll more than likely do an aftermath episode as well, like they did with Winter Soldier.

I really really liked this week's episode..
It's amazing how different everything is from when the show started.
There's what, maybe 5 episodes left to go in the season? Filler eps should be done and over with, so the rest of the season should be pretty nice.

Not to mention there's only one remaining Law & Order show left airing and it's not even the original (granted most of the spin offs had long respectable good runs). Whether it's quality or not, these shows have their moment in the sun and eventually their time passes. If anything splitting up the quality is having so many shows.
There was 15 years between the first CSI and the 4th. Arrow has 2 spin offs in what 3 years?
Agents of Shield wasn't even established and they brought out Agent Carter which was worse now they're trying another?
Gotta take the comic fanboy blinders off.
1 good show > 5 mediocre shows
With that said, since the rumors of a Mockingbird tv show I wanted this. So I don't mind it done in this way. They just need better characters for AoS.

The last two episodes are going to be back to back, which means only three more weeks of episodes left. I'm glad they did it this way. Because 22 episodes is too much. But if they do the premiere and the finale with back to backs for next season, then it can work.
I wonder how AOU affects the show. Cap 2 did what it did, and I believe AOS has 6 episodes to deal with it. This season only has 3.
