Gary Danko - be ready to drop $200 on a meal for 2 though.

Kiss Sushi - probably one of the best kept secrets in SF-- the most authentic japanese food you'll ever have. Don't come here looking to order rollsand americanized junk.

Harris' - mentioned above -- good steak.

Dixie - great food plus live jazz music.

Forgot to mention Swan Oyster Bar. Best chowder and oyster bar in the city. Kills any of the vendors on the wharf. The wharf is nice for tourists-- but thefood generally sucks.

espetusu for all you can eat brazilian bbq. its a bit pricey around 55 for dinner but lunch is only 20. and its definitely worth it!
