Westbrook is one of the dumbest players in the league. Literally, bottom 5 percent.

They ****ed up a bunch down the stretch, but the play that literally cost them the game was the first play under the 2 minute mark while they were up SIX POINTS. CJ misses a three, OKC gets the rebound with like 2:05 to go, and instead of eating clock and getting a quality look up, Westbrook decides to go early, drives to the rim and gets called for a charge. Westbrook used a total of NINE seconds on that possession.

The lack of situational basketball understanding that seems to ail a lot of players in this league is something I will never understand. And to make matters worse, no one is ever going to bring this up to him. NO ONE.

the play you described is pretty much the epitome of russ. he plays downhill constantly; it's the best and worst part of his game. it's like he sees the hoop and gets tunnel vision.

Nurkic shirt says

"Got bricks?"
"Next question"

streets is done. Russ is food.

PG was pretty solid minus his 2 missed free throws at the end and the turnover. To say that a guy that shot 14-20 and had you in position to win is the reason okc lost? That's a stretch

In addition, this "thing" with Westbrook is years in the making. It's arguably the reason kd cut turf. This game is just a byproduct of who he is as a player. That's why he deserves the blame.
I mean its not a stretch. The team loss yes but Russ and PG are the two stars. The two main players you look to on offense and defense to lead the team to victory.

Yes he shot efficiently to give them a chance to win and he played good enough to give them a nice lead. Russ had a bad shooting night which isnt unusual but he played a part in the big lead with 6 min left as well.

However, they lost that lead. I dont know where PG was for a lot of possessions and Russ like Chuck said, playing on one speed was living or dying with his game, miss a 3, make a 3, make a layup, get an offensive foul. They still had the lead and didn't lose it until the last possession.

That turnover by PG and missed FTs were key reasons why they loss this game but overall if you want to take it easy on individuals there lack of defense was a bug reason they loss.

As far as I'm concerned PG choked when it mattered.

OKC got the Finals not too long ago.

Had 3 MVPs, and kept the worst one.

Blew a 3-1 lead that essentially started this new era of the NBA as we know it.

Their MVP averages a triple double for 3 straight seasons and can't get out the first round. 3 straight gentleman's sweeps. Russ 4-15 without KD.

Russ talks **** to Dame all series only to be sent home on a 40 foot step back to notch a 50-burger.

Are victims of two of the most disrespectful shots in NBA history.

Their own journalists turning on Russ. Random media members throwing slugs.

Send these boys back to Seattle man. #SameTier
