NBC employee claims Bill Cosby paid off women, invited young models to dressing room.

This could easily be a right wing talking point for any of Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice, Sandra Bland, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Samuel Denise and countless other Black lives taken.

Right wing talking points is a mighty low bar Fam.

They aint interested in facts / truth...only narratives / agendas. :smh:
Ah yes, we mustn't forget that we are in the presence of the lone beacon of truth in a world cowed by powerful "agendas."

Let's see if we can summarize your enlightened and unbiased positions in this thread:

As for "narratives," why do so many of your posts reek of 4chan?

e.g.:
Was this next to a Pepe the frog .png in your "dank memes" folder?

It's like we're two pages away from a Jordan Peterson video, with you out here naturalizing dominance hierarchies like a struggle Charles Murray.

I wonder what website was circulating this story for mockery well over a year after its initial publication:

Oh, and posting a photo of the author to invite criticism of her appearance?

Seems like this is more about your "feelings" on feminists than any sort of consistent ideological principals, given that hostile emotion is really the only constant in your ever-shifting takes.

Evidently I'm "Ben Shapiro" now
I personally agree with what he said up until the 2:00 mark.

The Court Stenographer of Niketalk
On what side of the "facts vs. emotion dichotomy" does this statement lie?

People hiding details about Bill forcing them to take these pills at gunpoint?
Once more, for the people in the back:

It is not possible to provide consent while incapacitated.

I remember you used to have very thorough rebuttles, cited sources, coherent, fact based arguments. Recently though, it seems you go straight for the ad hominems. Your debating skills are devolving, its usually indicative of some personal issues. Wasnt expecting a heartfelt convo on your wellbeing, just maybe spur some self reflection on the way your communication has become affected. I guess I was expecting too much.
And I see you never learned how to spell "rebuttal."

You accuse me of being a "guardian of gaslighting" (ad hominem?), yet here you are in a thread whose core subject matter you had no interest in discussing, not to question my points (which you've said are valid), but to plant the seed that I'm "unwell," as if that isn't a lowbrow personal attack.

You say that your faux-concern is rooted in recent changes you've observed in my behavior, yet this is the same hackneyed line of attack you've attempted to wield against me in the past.

Here you are in full lather over a soup ad featuring a same sex couple, accusing me of the same basic things you're suddenly "worried" about:

If at first you don't succeed...

Does anyone feel odd watching episodes of the Cosby show now after all this? I kinda cant watch That 70’s show after all the allegations against Hyde :ohwell::lol:

I haven't watched the Cosby Show in a long time but it definitely feels a little weird to watch That 70s Show knowing how scummy Hyde was in real life

This situation has nothing to do with institutional racism, a racist police force, nor implicit bias. So it doesn't apply here.
People are trying to make you see the flaws in your logic by applying it to different situations.

You have no issues with personal responsibility rhetoric used against victims of rape, but you protest when people use it against black men who have been murdered.

So it is clearly not a universal principle for you like you present it.

Do any of you listen to R Kelly, specifically the Black Americans? Have you stopped listening to R Kelly?

Still drive on Jefferson Davis Highway.

Still cross the Woodrow Wilson bridge.

Still spend money with slave owners faces.

Still live in a State that was once the capital of the Confederacy

Still watch "The Pianist"

Still listen to Planet Rock

Still served in the Army / Swore an Oath to the Constitution

Still hear Cardi B on the radio (but turn it off).

Aint no such things as halfway crooks.

I don't know when is the last time I heard an R.Kelly song. Even before his last scandal, I couldn't tell you

If I hear R.Kelly playing somewhere, or someone else playing it, I really don't care

But in a year I probably listen to hundreds maybe thousands of songs, tons of them. I create my own mixes, have been doing so since I was a kid.

It takes near zero effort for me not to hear his music. So when the question is presented, it kinda implies that me not listening to dudes' music is some form of boycott that takes effort. It isn't.

But when I hear people tell me they are still listening to Kells I kinda chuckle, because I assume they are there making the conscious effort to seek out his music.
