YO! Yeah... but I went to Louisburg College. Had a bunch of homies from Raleigh. My homeboy played football at Cary - we actually used to clown him for it. Sothat was more of an inside joke to myself really.
And Sang was my homeboy for real. Kind of a popular kid in high school, always in a group or club. DF!!!

Hahaha everybody goes to the burg for a 1-2 year max. My boy went there for a year and said the exact same thing. He would come home every weekend .....Iremember having a football game there one time and just seeing abuncha dudes chilling"down town" on a friday nite around that civil war statue hahha.

Ha. I used to want to spit on that damn statue. The main building there used to be a hospital for confederate soldiers. !*%% supposed to behaunted...
They had sections of it closed off. We snuck in that joint late night one Halloween. Cats went up the stairs and dropped a Dorito's bag when some girlscame in. Them chics were scared as hell.You can't do !*%% like that at a major university. DF!!!

That's funny my cousin went to louisburg college....he said all they do is go to wal-mart and smoke in the woods....i visited and it was the most boringtrip of my college career....as far as high schools in raleigh around 1999 to 03, SOUTHEAST, MILBROOK, and ENLOE were poppin', and the other high schoolswere lame...Southeast vs Enloe basketball was the game of the year, every year...we had players like Chris Wilcox, Mike Bell, Ronnie Taylor, PJ Tucker..it gotso bad one year our team had to be escorted by the police to and from the game because of threats of violence...other schools had some heat too...Broughton=Shavlik Randolph, Wake Forest = Erick Williams, Leesville = Ant Richardson...the talent in Raleigh hasn't been the same since these guys left.....lets notforget Sidney Lowe....he was actually pretty good in 9th grade

i remember going to see shavlik vs ant when i was in like the 5th or sixth grade. Anthony Richardson was that dude. I remember I went to Leesvilles basketballcamp and he was my counselor. And Sanderson v Milbrook games used to go hard also...

YO! ^ We went to the McD's dunk contest at Broughton in '01. My freshman year. Shav was there, sitting in the crowd... we boo'd the $$+$ out ofthat loser. Won't forget how big that damn Eddy Curry looked in person. I got pictures laying around somewhere...

^Yeah Shav vs. Ant was a good matchup...i remember when leesville played at broughton....Coach K was there with some Duke players( i think Chris Duhon and J.J.Reddick)...it was a real big game, Shav did alright but Ant was giving him the business in front of his crowd and Coach K......Who could forget the dunkcontest!!!! James White was that dude back then and should've won....Raleigh has fallen off a little...we used to have alot of events...And 1 (before theywere big) came to my school (southeast raleigh) and shut it down. Does anybody remember the games at St. Aug during the summer? Vince Carter used to come down,Jerry Stackhouse, Ray Felton(he had to sit out the 1st game of the season because of this)...those games were the *!@....

ended up going to school in virginia but i graduated in 2000.
we prolly know a lot of the same people. i hooped at riverside. back in the pre-coach ross days when larry parrish was still there.

Me and Alphaproject went to that too.Julius Hodge that bum marked off the free throw line during the dunk contest like he was gonna jump fromthere he took off from like three feet inside the freethrow line.Mad people were Booin' him.James White should have one it!!The St. Aug's summer b ballgames use to be the heat.Its the Chavis league I believe and all kinds of people use to ball in that Stack, Sheed, VC most the good UNC guys and then randomNBA and ACC players.

I went to Harding for IB....I got outta that !@$@ in the 11th grade though and just switched to AP. I could do the work, but I just didn't feel likewriting all those papers and !@$@ for IB. How you gonna write a paper for math class???
