That phone looks fat as hell and definitely not as convenient as current offering for a traditional phone call. Whenever they can slim this down and get it to fold flat I will give this a consideration.

2K is a high asking price for this though. Tablet or not.

Fold 2 gonna be a step on the right direction but will still leave a lot to the imagination

It's not even worth it being the first gen. Remember the first Samsung Galaxy Edge
