then go weeks 7-15, use teams coming off of byes

do double Monday nights first couple weeks.. and Saturday games last couple weeks

I still don’t get why they didn’t just keep the schedule at 16 games, and give every team 2 bye weeks. Make the Thursday night football teams play on Thursday after one of their two bye weeks. Longer season with the same amount of games, better rest for Thursday night.
