Had a pair of those back in the day. Loved the bouncy sole. Only bummer was the outsole pretty easily separated from the midsole at the heel. Had to glue it a few times.

I might be the only one who doesn’t like the mountain flys. My heel slips a lot, and they are just pretty clunky in my opinion. I do like the plushness of the midsole though.
anyone cop the recent Nike ACG cargo pants? These ones:
You’re not alone. I think I’m going to return mine for the same reason. Too much heel slip.I might be the only one who doesn’t like the mountain flys. My heel slips a lot, and they are just pretty clunky in my opinion. I do like the plushness of the midsole though.
I think I’m gonna bite the bullet and pay resell on the Mountain Fly.

post the size you're looking for and someone might be able to connect you with one for retail
So, the OG had Air sole actually? Never had a chance to own them and can’t even tell whether these are Lahar or Lahar II retro tho... Also since I can’t really find the pic of vintage pair that says it’s the Lahar 1, it is making me wonder whether these are all Lahar 2 and what is supposed to be the OG Lahar is those Lahar (Escape edition tho) in the last pic.Without Air, and without the ACG tongue label
I appreciate that. I’m typically a size 13, but I have wide feet and I heard these run narrow, so I’m looking for a size 14.
I live right down the street from a nice mountain I want to try them on. I currently have the Zaherras in a 14 and wear them with thick socks.

I wish the AO were waterproof. Would be the perfect everyday shoe in the NW
I didn't realize they weren't waterproof until after a super muddy/wet hike I did hahaha. I had on good socks though. But when I got home I hosed down the shoes and the insides were fulled with water. I didn't really read anything about the shoes when I got them so I just kind of assumed. This 100%. I absolutely love my pair but not having a waterproof upper kills the vibe of me wanting to use it in the rain, especially since the upper is so breathable because of the mesh; the water just soaks through so easily.

The Mountain Fly fit the bill but not for the price.
