Nike Air Huarache Trainer: Black/Cool Blue 2/5/15, PRM Medicine Balls out now

Crazy Nike was charging $125 for the recent air flight huarache’s, but $170 for these. Anywho, I went with my Air Force 1 sizing and they fit good. By the way, I have normal width feet. I hope that helps anybody that’s undecided about sizing when ordering online.

Sorry in advance if this has already been posted (I haven’t been following this thread super closely) but sharing 2025 vs 2014.

I copped a pair off Finishline. If these so happen to hit the sales rack. I might double up.

I’m really glad people people who wants these and will appreciate them are able to scoop these with no issues.

I still think $170 for these is insane! These should be $140 at best as these retailed for $90(In 2001), $100(in 2011), and $115(in 2015) in its respective retro years. How much did these retail in 1992?
$125 in 1992. Adjusted for inflation, that’s $287 today 😮

Anyone who said it’s a solid release wasn’t lieing. 👍🏾. Materials could always be better but they are pretty good by Nike standards. Midsole is soft as hell too. Comfy for sure

Was there inflation between 1992 and 2015? If so why were the previous retros less? I’ll wait

Ofc there was.

But the price increases are only partly due to inflation and higher production costs. It’s also due to the fact sneaker culture has gotten bigger over the years and Nike puts a higher price tag on the box for the simple fact they CAN.

I might double up on these so beautiful in person and comfortable

I almost don’t want to use them for what I solely intended to, the gym. These feel really nice, and I’m not a double up pair kind of dude unless the shoe is defective (talking to you triple black huarache runner) but if i would’ve known, and especially for retail, I should’ve got a back up pair.

Yeah I don’t buy into inflation like everyone else

I’ve been saying that for decades
And you’ve been wrong for decades. It exists whether you choose to “believe” it or not. There’s a reason why the average cost of homes in 1980 was around $75000, and why today it’s over $450000. This is economics 101.

Now, what actually causes inflation and why is a much more complicated topic, but it absolutely exists, that much is indisputable.

I didn’t say it doesn’t exist

it’s not to the level of how people act like it is

I’ll never do the govs job for them or try to rationalize their moves or talking points

there’s plenty of meat on the bone to eat but people want the whole drumstick and your money

Sometimes it isn’t. But right now, I would say it absolutely is. Everything is very expensive. The ESSENTIALS - food, housing, insurance, healthcare, education, etc are astronomically high.

yeah, the point I was making is people are arbitrarily making these prices outside of tariffs

it’s not a necessary price adjustment

either way I’m not tryna derail the thread
