got my lakers cw today. here are my thoughts...

they upper part feels real different compared to the 17. the battleknit feels like it's pressing the upper foot to a slab of rubber compared to a hugging feeling; almost like a water shoe fit. it'd be a hard wear for casual as the toe box is real snug. one thing i do like is the toe box is more squared like the jordan xvi so it's more of a natural feel compared to the round toe which comes to a point. the cushioning is dope though; can't be mad at zoom on top of a max unit. ankle collar/heel cup is like a thicker version of the jordan 31. locks the heel down and supports the achilles real nice. i wore crew socks, so no issue with the tongue...but could be a different story if i wore quarter or no shows. will try them on the court this weekend.
