if you know its there you probably have an antivirus program that let you know you had it, use it to quarantine it...

No it's saying to download something and I click ok and it takes me to somewhere called file-secure, but it's like $100 to purchase a license orsomething.

Help someone help me.

I have Norton Anti-Virus, but the subscribtion is up/been up.

Should I run a full system scan?

Will that help.

Damn I just got this computer not even two months ago.

Best Buy warranty doesn't cover viruses.

I don't have aim, is there another way or something that you can help me.

the hater boxden

I'm going to try and shut my computer down and see what happens.

I'm mad scared I entered my debit/credit card info to order the Playoff's.

It's because of that F'ing stupid kid with is 2 girls and 1 cup post.

I was curious and went to google to search and see what it was about and it lead me to someplace and I clicked on a link and that's when it happened.

Oh man I did what you guys said, and it's still there.

Thanks for the help, but I ran that thing you sent me and it didn't do anything... I think.

Everytime I click internet explorer it says:

Your computer has been infected by Torjan.KILLAV
It's dangerous some files could be lost.

Click here to download some spyware program.
It is recommended.

But this prompt is BS because I clicked it before and those where the things that were detected as spy/malware.

When I go to google it says:

Error

Your browser was hijacked! Some results was changed by porn advertising! You
need to clean your system immediately to prevent it. Download the newest
antispyware software!

But when I click that it also takes me to download stuff that aren't good.

NT help me!

I'm like completely useless with this stuff. I don't even know how to download music illegaly online so that shows how much of a rookie I am.

By the way my Norton thingy had to get a renewal subscription, but I never did.

Help please!

You think I should do that durty pancakes!

You think that would work?

I ran a spyware scan from windows and it's saying that my system is running normally.

Please computer heads help me.

I already lost my old computer because of crap like this and this computer isn't even a couple of months old.

Best Buy doesn't cover viruses under their warranty.

Yes you should do that. That will work. Hopefully you have a restore point that doesn't have this problem.
Start>assessories>system tools>system restore. Do it.

After you restore it, get rid of Norton. Get this free AV instead, Antivir
After you install that AV, its time to install a legit spyware software - Spydoctor.
Go here. Uncheck everything except Spydoctor. Download it. Open it and'smartupdate' it. Run it. Stop surfing porn too. That helps out a lot as well

The system restore thing didn't work.

I'm removing/uninstalling Norton right now, and I'm going to try that free anti-virus thingy.

Then thry that Spydoctor thingy.

Oh man anyone else has any other suggestions to help me.

Please.

By the way I wasn't looking for porn. So stupid kid made a post about the 2 girls and 1 cup video and I was curious and went to Google to see what it wasabout and I clicked on something and that's when it happened.

Please any help would be appreciated.

I posted exactly what is happening up above.

I don't understand what you mean by reinstall Windows.

I didn't buy it on a CD it came already installed on the computer (it's Vista by the way).

I don't have it backed up on a disk or anything.

This sucks.

I installed that free anti-virus software that durty pancakes posted and I'm doing a full system scan right now.

I also tried to open up spy doctor to do the smart update thing he said to do, but it doesn't allow me to.

go to download.com and download AVG...its a free program... run it... im not sure if it will work but wont hurt to try

Sucks dude...just keep trying out what's already been suggested. I have the free version of AVG Anti Virus and Anti Spyware and they've worked for mejust fine. I don't remember who it was that recommended 2 other free anti virus programs that are supposed to be more aggressive than AVG. Maybe someoneelse will mention it in here.

Tried everything mentioned and nothing worked.

I'm about to go to sleep in a few because I'm tired, but if anyone has any other idea's that they think might work please don't hesitate.

It looks like it's a lost cause.

I don't understand it though. I ran things, but nothing is showing up, and the pop up is still happening.

Seriously I'm really pissed at this man.

I don't know what to do now, and I know if I take it to like Geek Squad or one of those places that fix and return computers their going to charge me a armand a leg.

Oh man I've been trying any and everything.

You guys think I should just go out and by Norton 2008 and a Spyware program.

If anyone can help me with this please do!

I don't know what else to do.

I woke up today and I'm trying this and that, but everything that I do just scans the Trojan.KillAV and if I want it removed I have to buy the software.

when they say reboot your computer, they mean to re-start it, as if it were brand new again. I think the way to do this, is by pressing the 'F5' or'F6' button (I forget which one it is) before your computer boots up. then you reformat your computer. it deletes EVERYTHING, and it will be as if youjust your computer, so make sure everything you need to save is saved on some kind of disk or usb drive because it will be deleted. i would ONLY do this as alast resort though because of all the headache.

EDIT: if you've been asked by a pop-up to download a certain anti-spyware program or something like that, chances are, it is spyware itself and you'veinfected yourself even further. never d/l or install anything that comes in a pop-up. it may look official, but it is not. i think i read that you did installsomething from a pop-up, which was definitely a bad idea.
