I always think of this whenever I'm down:
My internship supervisor this year is going blind. He is a sportswriter for my college but is going to be forced to retire soon; he has already lost his peripheral vision. Poor guy is only about 50 years old. One day when I was complaining about how much I hated my school (I really do, but that's not the point), he said "Look, I'm going blind. I don't have much time left. But I'm enjoying every day. Remember, tomorrow is always a better day."
Had me walking out of his office like
pretty much been enjoying life since then. If a half-blind guy is loving life, then there's no reason why I should complain.
