Is Texas really where it's at. Everyone I know is moving to Texas post college and are making bank. I flip through people IGS and it seems like dudes are really making money down there.

My man in Dallas trying to make me move there. He said $200k will get a dope house. I don't think you can even get a trap house at $200k in LA. Homes I'm looking at are older 1500 sq ft joints running no less than half a mill.Never compare your behind the scenes to someone else's highlight reel
Dallas Houston, Austin and San An all have their good and bad about them
They're not necessarily making bank...
It's just that 80k gets you a hell of a lot more here than in DC, NY, LA...
The big cities are like any other big city...
Just cheaper...
People are nice too... Southern charm.
I think I'm going to move out of Texas for a couple years, but I ultimately want to come back....
ThisDallas isn't boring at all. Best city in Texas hands down. But yes it depends on what you're looking for work wise.

I had a good experience in Houston. Flew there to interview at a job. Met at Stafford office. Got food poisoning in the way over. Company offered me extended hotel stay until I feel better but I just wanted to go home. Wasn't used to seeing such open spread of land though. And also wasn't used to going through toll roads . Was scared to get a ticket in a rental car.
Does anyone live in West Texas (El Paso, Odessa), South Texas (Laredo, Brownsville, Corpus Chrisiti), or North Texas (Lubbock, Amarillo)?

Dallas is a pretty cool place. Been here for the past 3 years and had a bunch of enjoyable experiences, some bad.
There is TON of construction going up around here. All kinds of European cities and master planned communities going up.
Frisco is the place to be. They broke ground for the Dallas Cowboys World headquarters, so I know there will be an influx of people for the jobs.
I think a couple of other Fortune 500 companies are moving their world headquarters here in the enxt couple of years, so if you want to get in, now would be a good time.
The food is meh save for a few spots around town. Downtown needs a vast revamping to catch up w/ uptown. I think more money will be put into it because i think people are starting to spill out of uptown due to the prices
Driving to Houston when I see the miles to El Paso(815) I say na not going to happenI heard El Paso is a cool town though. Very chill with a low crime rate.
