Actually I think it's at a all time low, but it is the elephant in the room.  He still could have come up with something better like the possibility of losing more after school activities cause of Money Mitt's plan to cut the education budget or something much better then using plan parenthood.  It just seems inappropriate and weird to encourage pre-marital sex and the right to have abortions as a support tool to gain teenage girls support.  Maybe it's just me

I think contraception/sex/women's rights is a more polarizing topic among young women than education cuts (which he did mention somewhat wit the college loan issue for the older brother)

Each segment was directed at a specific demographic.

In fact, all politicians can do is hope to do something that makes the environment better but industry and the markets are largely independent of government influence. Its easier to ruin an economy (like starting wars) than fixing one

4. Unemployment has gotten better...but the government doesn't create jobs. You "job creators" who want MORE tax breaks do. Supply side economics doesn't work. Maybe if the financial industry stopped soaking up talent from elite schools and we encouraged domestic innovation again, we'd be faring a little better.

Yea but the damage on those issues where done before he took office.  The whole terrorist thing was inevitable since the first Bush, and it was really the Godless nation pressing that it was all about religion not political agenda lead by terrorist organizations. 

Dude can't force citizens to be fiscally responsible, and he can't force companies to bring jobs back to America.  He has no control over CEO's and CFO's that intently run companies in the ground for there own financial gain.

To be real the President only has so much power the real power lies with us the citizens when it comes to the economy.
