Hats off to the Reds - first place in the NL Central now.


Don't know how they are doing it but they have been a pleasant surprise even though the entire NL Central as a whole has been a disaster.

looks like the Cubs horrid team/start is taking its toll on the people on here. Couldn't blame them though....

Going to the game tonight vs the Rockies. Company tickets on the rooftop.....all u can eat and drink.....and that's actually it. Oh yeah, a and baseball being played by an embarrassing team....

who's out when Volquez comes back from injury (i mean suspension, lol.)  what about Chapman?  Harang will be traded.  put Chapman in the 'pen?  too early to worry about it now, but those questions will need to be answered later on, especially if we're hanging around.

Regarding Volquez, I read somewhere where Jocketty was saying that they weren't going to let Leake throw more than 170 innings, so he could possibly move to the pen at some point, which is ehh. I'm also not sold on Homer yet. I have no idea when we should expect to see Chapman.

had a great time at the game last night......great dramatic ending(walk off HR in extras) but it still doesn't erase the fact that this team has serious problems. Nonetheless and short term feel good win

first time chiming in here.....sorry....blackhawks got me distracted.....but where do i start....great win yesterday but i just hope that they get started and that this is where they turn it around. i mean the pirates series was just plain awful. what in the he77 is going on with the cubs this season so far? Lou just seems like he'd want no part in this season, or maybe its just me.

I went to Wrigley when I was 8 maybe?  I can't remember. The only thing I remember is whatever they call those urinal "sinks" in the bathrooms. I can't wait to go back.

I Harang is producing, I say keep throwing him out there, unless a big bat gets offered up

Chapman should stay there until later June or early July. Hopefully we're still in the hunt and we can get him a game in.

Homer, yeah I'm not fully sold yet.

As long as Harang is gone I'm happy.. We still have Travis Wood waiting for a shot too. Like you said though it's too early. If we're still around at the break then these are all valid concerns.

Good win for the Reds today, amazing how negative some people are still being around here about it. Enjoy it, not like the Reds are the Yanks and in it every year, gotta celebrate while it is happening and hope it keeps going
