is it me or does a Cubs W don't do it for me this season. Don't get me wrong, if we beat the Brewers, Cardinals, and White Sox, then of course the Ws are more gratifying. It's just I see this team, manager and GM as incompetent fools that will never right the ship together. Why is Lou putting Nady in RF when he can DH? It's time to put our two best hitters, Byrd and Soriano in the 3rd and 4th spot in the lineup, and move Lee and Aramis to 6th and 7th. Great game by Dempster....3 hits over 8 innings, and no runs allowed. Marmol was filthy at the end.

Marmol was indeed filthy again today. He struck out the side in the 9th I think. And it's interesting as hell that Sean Marshall is 5-0 in May....lol.....and yes, he's a relief pithcer.

I mean damn, the marlins werent even in the league 10 years before they won the world series......what should that tell you?

Chris Capuano will make his first start since 2007 after having his 2nd tommy john's surgery. He is a huge CLASS act and I'm hoping he does well. Maybe return to that 2006 form where he won 18 games, yeah right.

I don't know if we are just that bad, or that the pirates simply own us. Regardless, it's coming cubs fans. Not a fire sale, but the opportunity to see our farm talent play in the majors, which is what I always wanted after 2008

Kap is going in! (postgame show)more proof that this manager and GM doesn't have what it takes to groom young talent the right way. Tyler colvin should be on the lineup everygame. But Lou sees him as utlity, and pinch hitting. He does have a history of not playing young guys unless he is overruled by hendry. He needs to play everyday or he will end up like Corey Patterson, Felix pie, etc. The solution for him if he is not your everyday RF, is to option him back to AAA Iowa until he gets permanent spot. How come a postgame host knows how to manage young talent more than Lou and hendry? Cmon guys, it's time to stop giving these guys passes because of 2007-08 and 2003(hendry)
