Hopefully this is the case.

i pretty much called this at the beginning of the year.. said i was more worried about our team this year than in any other recent year...

im just really disappointed with how the cubs are playing. since i cant watch cubs game here in the east coast, i rely on the internet or tv for highlights/scores. and its just painful when they cant even beat the pirates. 9 or so games back. still have 3 months of baseball. if they want to turn around, they ought to do it quick.

Votto is a serious MVP candidate. He's reached base in 40 straight games now.

lucky u, u do not want to waste your good time on watching these hitless, clueless, and quitters on this baseball team attempt to play and compete. And let's not kid ourselves here. This is not a scrappy, small ball type team. Those are the type of caliber teams that can make a run. Our team however, is a product of the Sosa era. Longball. All we try to do is swing for the fences. Add that with a bad combination of a young and veteran team, a tired manager, an even more clueless GM, and u have the 2010 Chicago cubs. Dysfunctional. If ricketts does not hire a new GM, then I think we know the type of owner he will shape up to be: revenue first, wrigley field second, winning, third. he will show that he was always a phony cubs fan in a diehard disguise all along. He claims that he is a diehard cubs fan. Prove it Tom Ricketts!

Now I know why Pirate, Astro, and Reds fans never posted much in years past........it's no fun when your team sucks and there is no ho hope for the future. What the hell am I gonna do when this free agent frenzy and the World Cup is done?????? I wish I had a baseball team to watch........%%%#@*% scrubs.

Like I said, I wish I had a baseball team to watch.

Well that was expected wasn't it? It seems like Dusty showed mercy and called off his dogs on Saturday simply because he felt sorry for his former team. No way I see it otherwise.

I want to say that due to Arizona's poor bullpen and their recent firing of the manager and GM(something the Cubs GM and manager will never destined to because they're simply ignorant)that the Cubs will take two of three. That's my heart talking. My brain says 'Zona will take two of three.

Food for thought: If a fan starts predicting the outcome of games, usually two things are happening. One, the team is playing real well, or two, the team flat out is predictable and has given up. If a team was fighting and still had a bad record, then u would see some unpredictable outcomes. But not the Cubs. Outcomes, are more likely predictable cuz majority of the players quit on this team.

Another laughingstock, we are the only MLB team that in the  100+mil payroll, with a losing record. Great job Jim Hendry and Lou Pinella!!!

Well the picking on the Cubs is deserved, but I have to ask what merits it? What have we won recently to be picked on or to hate on us? I understand the Yankees hate. The Celtics, the Lakers. Those teams have nothing in common with the Cubs. Oh well, something I'll never understand in life I guess.

I've just never been a fan of the cubs or their fans (nothing against anyone on here), the bleacher bums that show up at the game just to booze and be seen without a shirt on and have no idea what's going on in the field.

Every team has their share of fans that has no idea on what's happening on the field.
