Got denied to Purdue.

Got into Ball State, Indiana Sate, and IU so far

Oregon-deferred for 7th semester grades (will prob get in)
Ohio State-NO
LSU-YESSIR
Tennessee-YESSIR

I think I'm Rocky Top bound y'all!! So excited to go to UT!!
 
How you Americans get accepted so damn early?

In Ontario (Canada) we get our acceptances around early March.

Well anywho, I applied to:
- University of Toronto
- University of Waterloo
- Ryerson University.

My brother goes there and that's what he said. Unfortunately I got rejected from cal but I'm going to be a bruin.

Go to Duke if you don't get into any of the ivies.  Spending five years at UCLA will be stupid.

Ivy league pedigree > all

Speaking of which, I think I'm going to do my MBA apps next year again

BTW, not many people on NT applying to top 20 schools?  Common NT, step your game up.

For those of you going to UC's, good luck, I was talking to one of my friends doing graduate school their, lots of cuts being made, as well as average graduation dates being pushed back..

So why so pro Duke and anti UCLA? I mean, i'm leaning towards that too. I'm surprised I didn't even get into Brown. Everything I'veread tells me that Duke>Brown.
 
Does anybody know if a 3.5 or bettter gpa in a out of state(Texas) community college wIll get me into ucla or USC? I plan to spend 2 semesters at the coummity college and my high school grades are terrible. Thanks
 
If I may feel myself a lil:

-Graduated Oxon Hill High School  in PG County Maryland c/o 2006
-Morehouse College, Full tuition scholarship
-Joined several different campus organizations, sought and gained a few leadership positions
-Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. 3-AP-SP09 "The Producer"
-Kinda gave up the sneaker habit

-Interned with the Federal Reserve Board
-Selected for a school-funded trip to Europe for top business majors this past Spring Break
-Full-time offer from Ogilvy & Mather marketing/advertsing firm in NYC
-Graduating May 16th, 2010

No regrets. Wherever you guys decide to go make sure you leave a positive mark on your institution, and when you graduate and become successful in your careers PAY IT FORWARD. You owe it to the people who helped you along the way and the people in your communities who need people like you as a positive influence.
