I'm pissed Rondo is leaving Nike. His PE's and shoe selection in general has always been my favorite over the years.

He was though, bro.

It's amazing how little the average fan cares about defense. Tyson took the Knicks from the 22nd ranked defense to the 5th best defense in the league and won DPOY in the process. He was absolutely a top 20 player.
Well it can't be absolute if we are having a discussion about it. He was a very good defensive force during his Dallas run. No arguing that.

When Jim Buss stiffed Phil Jackson over the Lakers coaching job last season, everybody assumed the worst. Now, Jeanie Buss confirms that.
Roland Lazenby@lazenby 3m

The worst thing about Jeanie Buss' revelations is they simply confirm that her brother is a flake who has no business running the Lakers.
Roland Lazenby@lazenby 3m

With her writing, Jeanie Buss strongly implies that her brother is using her late father as an excuse for how he has handled the team.

Fans have defended Jim because they love the Lakers. If you love the Lakers, the best thing you can do is boycott them until he steps down.

Obviously Jim Buss wanted to strike a blow to his sister and her boyfriend, which is what he did. Guy has no business being in charge.

Damn no more Rondo P.E.'s dude was killing in the Hyperposite colorways before injury :{ they must be throwing a lot of money at these guys and giving them a lot of creative control.

Reading a Drose article on the other site and it looks like Adidas is close to getting Noah. They want most of the Bulls like Nike has most of OKC. I think Fisher is the only Adidas guy.

Ibaka is also Adidas, and Stephen Adams signed with them too. Coolest moment with that was the 09/10 season when the Thunder got on tv for like the first time and they all wore Creamsicle KD2s.

Do it Mitch or Discounted by Riley

Thing about this play is that if that was wade or lebron flopping to the ground like tha they would get destroyed and called floppers.

Really? THATS the thing about this play? Not the fact that Wade threw a Macho Man-style flying elbow at his head for no reason?

Paul George finalizing $90 million-plus deal with Pacers

All-Star forward Paul George and the Indiana Pacers are finalizing a five-year, $90 million-plus maximum contract extension, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

A deal is expected to be signed this week, league sources told Yahoo.

For the Pacers and George, who was voted the 2013 NBA Most Improved Player, the five-year deal will cement the gifted young forward as Indiana's designated franchise player.

In three NBA seasons, George has developed into one of the league's most thrilling young talents, blossoming into a starring role in the Pacers' march to a Game 7 against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals last season.

George, who was selected to the All-NBA third team for the 2012-13 season, is part of the 2010 draft class that has until Oct. 31 to agree upon extensions to avoid restricted free agency next summer.

George raised his scoring average to 19.2 points a game in this past postseason, up from 17 per game in the regular season. He has a strong chance to be part of USA Basketball's 2014 team that will compete for the World Cup of Basketball in Spain, and the 2016 Olympic team in Brazil.

The extending of George's deal solidifies a Pacers core that could contend for an NBA title this season and beyond. After pushing the Heat to seven games a season ago, Indiana will return forward Danny Granger from a knee injury, and added a key reserve in a trade, forward Luis Scola, to strengthen what had been a weak bench. Indiana also signed free-agent forward Chris Copeland of the New York Knicks.

Indiana re-signed forward David West to a three-year, $36 million extension in July, and secured center Roy HIbbert with a four-year, $58 million deal last summer.

George recently told the Indianapolis Star he expected an extension to be completed before the start of the season.
