It’s wild because Ortiz had it in the beginning, but he didn’t engage enough. All that defense started to look like running after the first 5 or 6 rounds.

Defensively Ortiz was impressive. Especially during the first few rounds. I can definitely understand the people saying he got robbed, because Teo really couldn’t land on him for the most part. Teo found his rhythm around round 7 and 8, but Ortiz was on his bike all 12 rounds and didn’t get hit with too many explosive shots. Teo obviously had the crowd and the judges on his side, but 117-111 is nuts. I had it at a 6-6 split and thought they’d call it a draw.
