In case anyone is interested I just received a pair of regular af1 id with the premium boot leather option and it is the same leather as the light british tan of the pendleton option (I also have a pair of those).

This material is thick with tiny ridges where as the iridescent was just straight up flimsy.
Might do a pair for fun but I don't see myself wearing them ever.

Just copped them all star lows on JJ. Surprised they went up earlier than other stores.
