Looks good. You get a decent amount of smoke flavor in there?

Never tried smoked queso

Appreciate the responses guys. Wife and I called ourselves trying out this recipe

It wasn't bad...but it wasn't what I was hoping for either. Very light on spice and overall flavor. It was our 1st time trying a jerk recipe so could have been user error, too.

Definitely gonna try the ones posted above. Thanks again!

You ever used Walkerswood?

Pork shoulder made last weekend. 250 for about 4 and a half hours then wrapped with a tangy vinegar bbq and brown sugar honey habanero for another 3 hours. Pulled at 205 internal and let it rest for about an hour and a half. Pulled apart and just used all the juice and sauce left in the wrap to mix around then set the sauces out for people to sauce their own stuff

I have not
I would say you and your wife def try to do your own jerk marinade if you find a recipe that sticks with yall

But also try Walkerswood (hot & spicy), not a single better premade jerk marinade out there.

Its legit legit. Great spice, flavor and color.

We moved into our first house 5 years ago. My brother in law gifted us the entry level walmart grill as a house warming. It served me well for 4 seasons.

But its being moved to the bench. Went and got myself a weber kettle.

All yall posting your chicken out the kettle have been cheating this entire time. Perfectly ******* brown without even trying.

Lastly, found out last year my little dude likes steak. Found out today that he likes lobster tails.

First time grilling lobster tails. Taste good as ****. Glad I picked up more (they were on sale) so I can dial this in.
