Yea, apparently during his livestream.
He kept his PK on evernote which someone got through by hacking his email and guessing his recovery password or security questions

How someone like him doesn't have 2FA and a hardware wallet I'll never know.

2 million in a bear market like this would have been a lot more in a bull market.

Ouch

I don't buy it. I highly highly doubt someone who had 2+ million dollars in crypto and who is also an advisor on projects does not own a hardware wallet and stores his private keys on an encrypted application (Evernote). If he really did get hacked, truly unfortunate.

If you have a lot of money invested in crypto.

Sure many of you guys know this, but it should probably be reiterated.

-Use a VPN (NordVPN)
-Linux/MAC OS
-Enable 2FA Google Authenticator, write down the recovery codes. If you have a spare device laying around scan the QR code, so if you lose your phone you got a back up.
-Unique password for all exchanges and email (don't use words or phrases, random letters, symbols, numbers, mix that **** all up together 12+ characters.)
-Write down all your passwords on paper
-Bookmark exchanges. I also use Cryponite by Metacert to avoid phishing scams and fake twitter accounts. It displays a green banner on the top of the site to notify you that you're on an authentic website.
-Don't trade on public WiFi.
-Never enter your private key on a website. Vast majority of that **** is a scam, only one that I know that is legit is Switcheo.
-If you're downloading chrome extension wallets/web wallets make sure you're downloading from the correct source.
-LEDGER NANO S/TREZOR HW WALLET

edit: Forgot to mention. If you own ICX and have not created a wallet on their chrome extension wallet. Turn off your internet then create the wallet, print the private key.

Ethos wallet releasing this month I expect it to double in price soon and if it actually runs well expect extra gains.

People are not convinced the hack is real because its so close to tax seasons.
He's also deleted a lot of tweets and apparently he has some info about one of the "hackers" wallets which you won't know unless you created it

I can't verify all this but it is a bit suspicious

Great tips.

Even for Switcheo, it takes a min to create another NEO wallet on NEON so I created one just for the Switcheo exchange while I keep my NEO and nep-5 tokens on another wallet.

That way if you landed on a phishing website then at least they won't clear out everything you have.

The day has cum, ******* is now accepting Verge.

You guys weren't lying about that big partnership

Let's see how it dumps or even rises.

Funny!! Dont think its them though.. Just like flipkart trying to catch the wave.. I believe ph did the same.

Unless partner is really mindgeek. LOL

Bravo to ******* for taking the time to make that. Lol any publicity is good publicity.

Tried signing up using "verge" it goes to credit card info page.

That’s great for real world usage. Just a shame that it isn’t a real privacy coin. But I guess here it doesn’t matter, it’s just not having ******* on your statement that people will be happy about.

How much for a year of porn?

This is unverified talk at this point, but apparently, Bitcoin and other coins have been accepted for years on those sites. Doesn't appear to be anything new or noteworthy.
