Lin's turnovers should be down once Melo comes back as he won't have to control the ball as much.

I hope not. Knickerbockers are winning because the ball is in Lin's hands most of the timeOriginally Posted by FullMetal

It's not an either-or thing at all. They'll share the ball.Originally Posted by RawSheed

In those 3 games of tape he did the same exact thing to the Lakers. It's not like he pulled new tricks out the bag for them specifically. They tried to make him go left and they dropped back on him so he couldn't penetrate. Even Kobe guarded him a bit in the 2nd half and they put their other bigger players on him.Originally Posted by Essential1
Oh yeah 3 games of tape.. A lot to know about the guy...Originally Posted by UPPTEMPO8387

AndDerek Fisher... You brought up
Derek Fisher...
Derek Fisher..
And defense.. Have you ever been in the Lakers thread? Where there is a worry that no matter who the PG is they will have a career night. The thread title says "Our games are open tryouts for PGs."![]()

Well that says a lot about your coach and w/e defensive schemes you're running, especially in that 2nd half. Yall could've got away with Fisher/Blake guarding Fields. You're basically saying Lin scored all those points cuz your best defenders didn't guard him. Who were they guarding?Originally Posted by Essential1
2nd Half:
2 on Blake
2 on Fisher
2 on Kapono who was a close out defender fooled by a pump fake
3 on Gasol who was 8 feet off
3 wide open
2 blow past Barnes
not one of his baskets were scored on Kobe.
To act like the Lakers could 1. Had adequate time to prepare for a guy who would be the 12th man on insert crappy NBA team had he not scored 25 out of nowhere in a game less than a week before and 2. Guard him with Fisher and Blake.. Or guard any PG for that matter is laughable.
The second half wasn't a lot of him scoring on our great defenders playing tight defense. Just inadequate defenders who make up the 29th or 30th worst PG combination in the NBA.
Teague scored 18 on us Tuesday and we laughed at him in the season thread
