The MV 9 was my last straw. Then the MVP 9 pack. It's much more satisfying just going without instead of stressing over a shoe, especially with this line. There have been sooooooo many limited and unreleased colorways and special mock ups that I'm numb to it. How can I trip off of missing the latest limited release when I've missed the last 45 and there will be more to come? Whatever I can get between sales, retail, and reasonable resale, I'm cool with that. And there has been plenty available between the 9 and 10, a lot of it heat IMO. And with ID, I don't see a need to get bent out of shape. Worst case, I save money.

I guess its something you have to grow out of. Glad I'm past it all.

Since we always prop Jordan for making everything available in his playing days, let's also mention that Brand Jordan started this BS. I can remember reading, and participating in many discussion in the JB forum about availability and the difficulty of obtaining shoes. Then the "new" guys and trolls took over, sort of like this thread.

Then you realize how corny it is. All these years of buying kicks, the "chase" wore me down. Ol' Nike :smh: :lol:

was told by an employee at HOH that they call from 11am-6pm. also its from an outside company they hire to call. its going to show as a private number. they also dont leave a voicemail and move on to the next person if you dont answer. its gonna be a long day.

With the amount of money people will be dropping on those MVP I would rather make 2 ID pairs and save myself a ton.
 
so these mvp are selling/preselling for 3000-5000 *****.

i'd rather get the 3-4 pairs of pe/promo lebron vii's with that if i had the money to burn at once. Thats just me though
 
Never been to concerned about a shoe that would be pretty much impossible to get. Just give me the release date for those Denims & I'm good!

Feel bad for those people dropping 4000 on a pair of shoes when Nike gonna release these online sometime tomorrow hahaha (sarcasm)

Suppose if I had that kind of spare money and wanted a shoe bad enough I'd do the same. Sold two pairs of shoes for 1200 total and couldn't get my self to pull the trigger on corks for 600, something about spending that much on a pair of shoes I can't rap my head around it. I'd rather but a few pairs that I'd actually wear a lot rather than getting a really rare shoe that'll just sit in my room but thats just me.

never heard of this before. The few times ive won a raffle, ive always received a phone call from FTL themselves, and one time i didnt answer, called back ten min later and it was all cool.

Was also told in Chicago if I don't pick up that they move right down the line if you don't pick up

Well you could say that for nearly every shoe really. If people have money to blow at high resell prices then you really can't do much
