man I thought this episode bit the big one.
sorry, I was more impressed by last weeks ep.

I know there was a lotta info, but the overall ep was boo boo tonite...

and yeh, Ben's dad is SHAWN from Martin (martin lawrence's martin)
yeh, he played uncle rico too, but I always liked him in martin and one of my favorite movies ever Running Scared (billy crystal and Gregory Hines.

This episode had a great ending but was decent to me. There are still even more questions about the island.

Yes I too thought that girl might be Rosseau....I wonder if Ben told her about the purge. Also I find it interesting alot of you guys are assuming Ben is from Portland, OR....why not Portland, ME?! I am sure most of you are going off the connection where Julliet went to meet Richard Alpert for the job etc...but you never know with these Lost writers.

Ben shooting Locke shocked me and I definitley agree Ben is evil. He knows Locke is special and is afraid of him but then you have to wonder why didnt he finish him off with a headshot?

Also yes I agree the gunpowder is extremely significant. Ben didnt want Locke touching it. I think that seals Jacob in that house. This episode just opened up so many more questions.

The only thing that irked me is they never went back to the Losties. I am glad to know Jack wasnt doing anything shady and was working with Julliet to foil Bens plan (we hope!).

a couple guesses:

jacob is an angel who was cast out of heaven to the island

The hostiles are ex dharma members, which would explain why they still have deep pockets

Locke isnt dead and (this is a guess) he's gonna kill ben in the season finale

the whole richard not aging thing is just the fact that they are terrible at age make up

^^ Bad makeup? They did an amazing job on Ben's dad. I don't think they were trying to fool anyone with Richard. It was obvious the dude didn't age. The question is why?

SHOCKING episode, not sure if it was great, but it was very interesting.

^Yeah I think your theory about Locke, Ben and Jacob makes sense. I also don't believe Locke is dead, and what ya'll sayin about Locke just becomin cool? He's always been the man.

i heard that richard and jacob are escapees from the expirements.

i thought it was a good episode.
i told you guys that ben was stone cold man.
didn't expect the whole Locke getting shot at all. but i don't think he's dead at all.
as far as who Jacob looks like. hard to say. I really don't think it's Christian. Locke is close.

Lost, today = December 22nd
Others will come in 3 days = December 25th?
Asian tsunami = December 26th

Island controls the earth? 108 minutes, Swan, prevents
disasters?

Locke can't die? Island needs him. Smokey decided not to
kill Locke....

Jacob = god? the earth? gives people powers?

Gravel/black powder = something magnetic ?

oh and about Locke

Did it seem that Locke got shot in the Kidney

and Locke "donated" 1 of his kidney's to his pops

so basically, shouldn't Locke die, if his remaining kidney is gone?

unless he didn't get shot in the kidney, or some miracle happens, then Locke will probably live

Crazy episode. I can't wait for the last two.

All I want to say right now is that one of the Lost writers must have daddy issues. Have we seen one charater's father (except maybe Jin) who wasn't an ***hole? Obviously there are degrees, with Locke's dad being the worst, but Jack/Claire, Kate, Sun, and now Ben, all had dad's who were pretty bad in their own ways.
