Lakers offense wasn't much better than their defense last season. In addition to everything else he does, Nash will make the offense much better simply by consistently hitting outside jumpers. Obviously will have to make additional moves to settle the defensive concerns, but really it seems they've accepted they'll always be torched by opposing point guards. At least now the opposing guard will have to stay home on his man at the other end. Good move.

If they can turn Bynum into Dwight who covers up defensive mistakes better than anyone since Hakeem, and somehow land an athletic 2/3 they'll potentially be as good as any team.
Hopefully they keep my dude Gasol, though. Nash + Gasol = magic
